US Guardian First Capital ripoff, steals from consumers ripoff deception fake Buffalo New York
I received a telephone call to my unpublished cell phone number after applying online to a ligitimate credit card company.
This call came from US Guardian, offering me a Visa and a Mastercard with limits of $2000 and $2500. In order for them to issue the cards to me, they needed to withdraw $199 from my bank account prior to releasing the cards to me.
I authorized this debit to be conducted on August 2, 2002. It was withdrawn on Auust 5, 2002. They stated that my cards would be sent to me no later than August 20, 2002.
It is now August 26, 2002 and still no cards. I have contacted them on August 19, 2002 and they stated that the cards were in transit to me and I should have them by weeks end. Well of course, I have nothing yet.
It is impossible to get your bank to refund you because they list it on your withdrawl as telephone authorized. This company somehow got a hold of my name, address, cell phone number etc....How can they get that info!!!!
