First off I can barely belive anything you said. Lets start off with the lumper with wal-mart. They do pay the lumpers for load and unloading. If you payed attetion to what you were told in oreintation you would know that when you scan in your paperwork you scan in the recipt for the lumper. If you do not they deduct it from your pay. Do you know how many people tell them they need com checks for lumpers and the driver knows well thats not what the money is for. He knows he is using it for what ever he wants. Second off if the truck was wrecked that bad that a driver died in it the truck is required to go thru a DOT inspection before it is allowed back on the road and they will not let it go out the shop with cracked windshields and no wipers and what ever else. Don't get me wrong there is things that are screwed up there but they are not that crazy. And as far as the air line goes if you are giving a ticket on a company piece of equipment for anything other than driver stuff they pay for it. I think it would have been better for you to inform yourself and ask questions before you make all these false statements.

I've been with USA a year and 3 months. I get over 10,000 miles a month, nothing less. In order to be reimbursed on your lumper charges, you have to submit the receipts when you transflow your paperwork back to the company. Also, if you had that many problems with your truck, you should have marked on your vehicle inspection report in your log book "that the vehicle had defects which would likely effect the safe operation of vehicle" effectively putting yourself out of service. As such, the company would be in violation of FMCSA and DOT laws by forcing you to drive an unsafe vehicle. Also, if the truck was in such bad shape when you went to pick it up, you should have talked with your FM and got the issue resolved. As you noticed, maintenance personel are hard to deal with at the company. I'm sorry that you had a poor experience with USA Truck, but I've had a great experience.
