Healdsburg,#2Consumer Suggestion
Mon, February 14, 2005
I have had fake charges also appear on a phone bill and been treated rudely. They are leaches on society and the more complaints the better so both of these companies are stopped from further fraudulent billing. One suggestion to prevent further charges in the future is to call your local company and put a block on all 3rd party billing and 3rd party calls. Same with other services like operator assisted, and any service you would never use. Since I have done that, no more fruadulent charges have appeared on my bill. Seems they also take a phone number that was legit and then claim you made an op assist call, or signed up for voice mail services. Complain repeatedly and DO NOT PAY anything you did not knowingly make.
