uship attorney Scott Morris (contact info below) was informed of a convicted felon operating on uship.com under a second profile. See a copy of the email. Based on a letter sent to multiple parties, Scott Morris has made libel statements and defamed a person and company based on information that is false and spoon feed most likely by Matt Chasen.

Keep an eye on this profile and we'll see what they do about it knowing the truth.

Ill give you one example of a convicted felon active on uship. -Original account on your clients site: http://www.uship.com/profile/transofflorida/ -Removed and went to jail: (((link redacted))) -Opened new account as a convicted felon after release from jail: http://www.uship.com/profile/applog/ -Has 467 illegal loads under another companies DOT authority -Violates uship user agreement: 28. No Felony Convictions. You represent and warrant that you, and any individuals associated with you who will perform the services, have not been convicted of a felony. Furthermore, you represent or warrant that there are currently no legal proceedings, criminal, civil or administrative, instituted against you that will prevent you from performing the services. -Call owner of All Pro: (((phone number redacted))) Ask who owns the profile on uship. He told me Theresa Smith. Ask if he is aware of her conviction and incarceration. -DOT link from second profile: http://www.uship.com/popups/safer.aspx?type=MC&num=237220 -Owner who knows Theresa Smith and did NOT allow her to use his DOT info on uship (((link redacted)))-supporting webpage with this felons information: (((link redacted)))

I created a group forum website for those of us who have been scammed, robbed or have been taken advantage of by Matt Chasen @ uship

www.scamship.com

I hope that you take the time to signup so that our many singular voices can be merged into one strong, loud and permanent voice that will create change or closure to uship.com. I recognize a few email addresses on the list and I know that you can help contribute greatly to this site.

I have built a site where we can chat with others, create groups, make friends, help those who were scammed and share stories. This is more than a forum. This is a place that we all can have become the largest community online to combat uship's unfair practices.

You will not be asked your name, you can enter it once you are logged if you would like. If you are a lurker or someone who has been compiling years of data on uship, we welcome you.

I promise not to:
Censor your posts
Give out personal information to any 3rd party
Remove posts
Bend to legal threats from uship to shut down the site Cancel your account for any reason

My suggestions:
Pick a username that you like. Once entered, it cannot be changed
Spread the word as much as possible to facebook, twitter or any other social website.
Help each other. Our site is designed to be social for a reason.

Thank you
Walt @ Scamship

Buyer beware when using UHip.Com

With the silent pandemic ongoing as the result of the internet, it's even more important of a Buyer Beware approach.

With websites like http://www.UShip.Com springing up all over the internet and becoming a "safe haven" for rogue movers, the average consumer has no idea what they're getting into.

Those type websites instill a FALSE sense of security into the consumer. They push 'feedback' and 'transparency'. Little does the consumer understand, 'feedback' is useless when determining the legality of a carrier. Feedback doesn't provide any legal layer of protection either. It simply provides you a false sense of security!

Most all the Transportation Service Providers or TSPs, on Uship.Com operate illegally . Almost all TSPs on there are operating without Motor Carrier authority, revoked authority, multiple profiles and anything else you can imagine!

The sites rules prevent anyone from educating the Shipper. Any attempt to do so will get you suspended from the site. The tools that are available on the site are difficult to find, misleading and/or are incomplete in content.

All dirt and/or negative content is deleted/swept under the rug (minus negative feedback, until it becomes enough to create bad PR). Then the respective carrier(s) profile is suspended. Out of sight, out of mind.

All the consumer sees is the positive stuff, yet Uship.Com claims to be a neutral venue. Its far from neutral.

The rules actually create and enforce an unfair trade practice environment.

Someone in Government really ought to check out UShip.Com and its registered Carriers or TSPs. The FMCSA, the FTC and the IRS all come to mind real quick.
