Here is some insider info about the companies listed. What I am posting is a reply to a post, but I am not going to type a completely new one. Still the information fits and will make sense with all of the posts regarding these companies. "Here are some facts about usight from someone that is CLOSELY associated with the following companies. Usight and Bring-it-Home, Salt Lake City, Utah. (Same company) CMG(Consolidated Marketing Group also Sales team for Unimweb and Biztools and Cash Flow Vending), Liberty Vending, Marketing Solutions United, Washington, UT. (Same Company) I would estimate the success rate of this type of online business to be <1%. There is nothing wrong with the websites, merchant accounts or any of the technology. Most of you should never have been sold an internet business. Salesmen make things sound so darn easy that its hard to resist. The customer support and training staffs have a lot of angry and desperate people to deal with. They don't make big bucks and are not part of the problem. The software the usight uses took very talented programmers thousands of hours to create and they deserve to be paid. The price of the websites themselves is not the problem. So I bet you are wondering where your money went. Many of you were sold marketing packages that consist of 10,000 to 20,000 banner impressions and 1,000 to 2,000 guaranteed visitors. These packages typically cost $1000 to $3000 dollars. You can purchase 500,000 banner impressions online for $399 and 30,000 guaranteed visits for $197. Royalty free publishing cd's, marketing courses, and other knickknacks on CD or video typically cost up to $1000. Well all I can say about those is that I could burn 50 copies of the same CD for $10. Training, mentoring, coaching or whatever you call it typically costs up to $300 per session for 8 to 12 session ($2400 to $3600) The training is contracted from independant companies. The indepenant companies receive around $50/session and the coaches themselves $10 to $20 per session. Web hosting typically costs clients $29 to $59 per month. Comparable hosting can be found for less than $10 a month. Do the math. Salesmen can easily take home $4000 a WEEK with their 10% to 20% commissions. The BigWigs live in VERY nice homes. And here are a couple of VERY tasty rumors. They are unsubstantiated and I cannot prove them in any way, but I hear that the prices you paid may not be based on any price list, but instead are based on your credit limit. I can confirm that what cost one person around $5000 cost another person over $10,000. When's the last time you checked your credit report?? Another juicy rumor is that portions of you telephone conversation may have been recorded and the recorder was turned off at 'convenient' times. By the way, when a salesman says he will call you back, or be there when you need him, that is a FLAT out LIE. I am truly sympathetic with the problems many of you have had, and I would do more if I could. But the simple fact is that you do share a small part of the blame for being too trusting and assuming the best of people. If you really want your money back you must be persistent and ignore the threats of lawsuits. Make enough noise and you have a good chance of getting your money back. I have never heard of a situation that actually made it to court. Good luck to you. Norman Salt Lake City, Utah
