BEWARE when you purchase a Paintball gun online from UTAH PAINTBALL SUPPLY in Morgan, Utah d/b/a Action Center LLC and Action Paintball Supply.

While some online retailers charge you a minimal restocking fee if you change your mind, UTAH PAINTBALL SUPPLY charges you a WHOPPING 80% of the original purchase price if you return defective merchandise that is broken when you receive it even when the product has not been used.

That means that if you pay $200 for a paintball gun and it is defective, Jeff and Jeanette Wilkinson, owners of the home internet business, will charge you $80 to return un-used merchandise that does not work when you take it out-of-the box.

This policy is deceptive and fraudulent and is intended to dissuade customers from returning merchandise at all. You, the paying customer, have to spend hours and days trying to get into contact with the manufacturer for a factory repair of a product you never even used.

UTAH PAINTBALL SUPPLY return policy states that all paintball guns are shipped "as is." If you request a return authorization number you are directed to the manufacturers website in lieu of a refund.

UTAH PAINTBALL SUPPLY assumes no responsibility for selling you a paintball gun that does not work when you take it from the box.

DO NOT purchase from UTAH PAINTBALL SUPPLY unless you want to get Ripped-off.

First: 30 day guarantee new or used merchandise may be returned for refund or store credit within 30 days of the invoice date. Action Center llc. will not accept returns after 30 days from the invoice date . All returned items must be complete and in the original packaging. Returned items must include all warranty cards, instructional manuals and associated parts. A copy of the original invoice must accompany all returns. Please save the original invoice for your records. You may need it for other items or future warranty claims. Paintballs, clothing , and batteries may not be returned. 

Restocking  fees.
  All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee Any item returned used or not in its original condition or entirety or damaged will be subject to a minimum 40% restocking fee. Additional charges can be up to 80% of the original purchase price for excessive use or damage. Use is defined by any attempt to air up or fire a marker or install accessories. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges associated with returned items. Action Center llc. will only issue a refund after a return has been received and reviewed. The amount refunded will reflect the original cost of the item minus shipping fees and restocking fees associated with the return as stated above. If the product qualified for free shipping and it is returned the customer will pay the original shipping charges which were paid by Action Center llc.

Notice that they say its normally a 20% restocking fee. Unless the item is damaged, which in your case a defective item would be.

What you should be doing is contacting the manufacturer under the warranty of the item. I assume you still want a paintball gun or you would not buy one. Just contact the manufacturer and get it fixed or replaced.

If the item was damaged and not defective you should contact the shipping company for a claim.

Warranties 
All new paintball equipment carries warranty by the corresponding manufacturer. The length of a warranty, extent of its coverage and the terms of warranty service vary according to each manufacturer. All warranty related questions or claims must be directed to the manufacturer of the product. Action Center llc. is not responsible for shipping charges incurred on items returned for warranty or service issues. Action Center llc. does not guarantee any claims regarding any item's ability to perform as stated or advertised by the manufacturer. Never attempt to use, fix or alter a damaged item. This may void the warranty for that item. Action Center llc. does not offer a warranty or warranty service on any product. Action Center llc. is not responsible for any damage that occurs during the shipment of any product including paintballs. Transit handling and climate conditions can alter the quality of paintballs. Please take temperature changes into consideration when placing orders for paintballs, Action center does not exchange product. Any item that you wish to exchange due to malfunction or failure to operate must be returned to the manufacturer. 


I would say that their policies are erring towards ripping you off, but they didn't keep them a secret. They are upfront about their return policy regarding broken or defective merchandise. Just deal with the manufacturer.

Excessive Restocking fees are $160 on a $200 Purchase

Correction to my previous report. The total amount Utah Paintball Supply d/b/a Action Central LLC is charging me for a restocking fee on the defective Dangerous Power Fusion F7 Gold paintball gun is $160.00. Jeff Wilkinson is proposing to refund only $39.99 back to my VISA although he billed my VISA $199.99. The dpf7 Gold was defective and never used.
