Kim with VIP

My name is Kim and I am a supervisor at VIP Travel Reservations in Port Orange, FL. I would like to set the record straight in that we are not nor do we have anything to do with Vacations to Go, Vacation Professionals, or Sky Travel.
We are a regular full service travel agency in Port Orange, FL, and this is our only location which we have been at for going on 8 years, and moved here then from right up the road in a Speedway office in Daytona Beach which we were at for nearly 10 years. We have no affiliation with any other companies, and do not represent them in anyway.
VIP Travel Reservations, Inc. in Port Orange, FL, does not have time share or travel club presentations, nor do we solisit people for sales, nor do we even advertise.
While I appologize for your frustration, unfortunatly what you went through had nothing to do with us, unless you attempted to fulfill the activation form for actual travel which you mention in the end, which may have been fulfilled through us.
But to my knowledge, (your comment here, and searching your name and city in our system), you have never sent anything to us, therefore never giving us the chance to prove we were a legitimat company.
Please do not categorize us with these other companies, while not saying they did or didn't do anything wrong, we are not them or even affiliated with them.
Thank you

The facts of this report are wrong. Vacations To Go is not and has never been associated with the companies mentioned by Mr. Herb Waltham, namely Vacation Professionals, Travel To Go, VIP Travel Reservations and Sky Travel. Mr. Waltham referenced a direct mail offer he received upon returning from his honeymoon. We send no direct mail whatsoever so what he received was not sent from Vacations To Go. We do not make Travel Services Presentations. We are a traditional travel agency. We do not have an office in Methuen. We have a single office located at 5851 San Felipe Drive in Houston, TX. There is no one by the name of Ethan that works at Vacations To Go. Vacations To Go is a bonded and fully accredited travel agency, and a member in good standing of the Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC), the International Airlines Travel Agent Network (IATAN), the Cruise Line International Association (CLIA) and the Society for Accessible Travel and Hospitality (SATH). We have achieved the highest level of recognition possible from every major cruise line in the world for our exceptional sales and superior service. My company had been indicated as being the same company as Vacation Professionals/ Travel to Go. This is not correct and shows that the person filing the complaint was assuming rather than checking facts. We are an individual company with no other alias's or subsidiaries, and no affiliation with any other companies. My company is VIP Travel Reservations, Inc. located in Port Orange, Fl. We do sell and often give away many different types of travel certificates that offer discounted trip's to consumers. All of our certificates have very clear terms and conditions to explain exactly how they work and do require each consumer to sign agreeing that they understand them all to activate the form. Some of the companies that use our certificates are timeshare resorts, travel clubs, car dealerships, air conditioning companies, water filtration companies, Mary Kay, as well as many other types of companies, and we often donate certificates to local charities and fund raisers. We had nothing to do with the presentation in Methuen, MA. We like to satisfy all of our customers and give them great vacations.

I represent Travel To Go and I am sorry that you feel that we were part of your disappointment. The gift you received for attending the presentation was not from Travel To Go. It is from a third party company and I believe you signed a disclaimer explaining that to you at the time you received that gift. Who ever you spoke to is correct complimentary does not mean free. The certificate was free; however just as if you won a car on the radio you would have to pay your taxes and most likely other fees for receiving the free car. Regardless of that, I would like you and anyone else who is reading this to please contact me directly so that we may rectify this wrong doing. Although it is NOT the responsibility of Travel To Go to fulfill the gift issues, we would like to try to rectify the wrong doing you feel has been done. No we are not going to give you free airfare; NO we are not going to give you a balcony cabin on a cruise. We are DEFINATLY NOT going to try to sell you anything. All I ask is that you contact me and we will make it right. Please note any gift we give you will have taxes which will be fully disclosed upon you calling me as well as normally there is a reservation and booking fee associated. The fees for the cruise offer we have are currently $59 per person and the reservation and booking fee is a ONE TIME fee of $79 total. These fees are NOT PAID to Travel To Go, as I said this is not our responsibility, however considering we are an 18 year old company we would like to help where we can. Please feel free to contact me directly by calling Travel To Go. Ask for Grace I am in the resolutions department and if you hit 0 the operator will get you right to me. Thank you, This is also for any other consumer that reads this. Sincerely, Grace
