Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
My name is Chuck Wisely

My friend received an offer from Vacation Showroom and decided to take them up on their offer. As time went by with both found out that this company is very crooked. They don't care about their customers nor their employees. We have been trying to find out information about this company for months and we finally contacted the sales person in Orlando who gave us her home phone number so we would call her back to purchase the package (Thank God!).

Although this person doesn't work there any longer due to company cut backs she has offered to provide us with some starter information. In our investigation of this company we found out a few things. The company "Vacation Showroom" is basically a front for a few other companies that participate in this shady vacation sales operation. The ex-employee we talked too told us that the one of the owners of the "Vacation Showroom" is a Jacob Wood who is a disgrace to the Asian Community. She also told me that he does live somewhere in Orlando and drives a few different BMWs. I have not found out where he lives yet but when I do I will let you know!!! That is all I needed to go about my investigation.

I went on the web and browsed a few government websites to see if I could dig up any information on this Jacob Wood. I came upon a Florida government website that allows you to look up companies by the CEOs' name. I found out that Mr. Wood owns a few other companies. I found out that he is the CEO of Park Avenue Diversified Inc., Skypass Advertising Inc., Florida Brokerage & Data Systems Inc., and Orlando Reservation Inc. All of these businesses are ran out of the physical address of 1417 North Semoran Blvd #204 Orlando, Fl. 32807.

I also find out that Florida Laws say that if you purchase these types of packages that there is a cancellation period, in which the company has to give you all of your money back. Instead of doing that Vacation Showroom bounces you around from person to person and keeps telling you to call back. By the time you actually try and tell someone you want to cancel the cancellation period is up and you can't receive a refund. There are even a few times we called and their phones are disconnected, which gave us the ammo to start this investigation.

That is all of the information I have right now, but I contact a few people I know down in Orlando to see it the can investigate this company further and Get me some more information about Jacob Wood. So for any of you customer that have been scammed from Vacation Showroom, please look for my updated information because if I have to go to Orlando to find Mr. Wood to uncover all of his information I will just so everyone can bug him for their refund.

My advice to everyone would be to contact the Department of Agriculture and talk to a Charles Bronson and let him know what this company is doing with your hard earning money.

Mr. Chuck Wisely. In order to make a valid complaint you must first, either be listed as a customer or list the customer who has a complaint. We have diligently searched our data base for yourself, and we have found that no one meets your criteria. Hopefully by administering these suggestions, you may recieve future participation in these circumstance, as well as others later throughout time. Thought taking the initiative to make a complaint for a friend, is very thoughtful, it would further help a company to respond if the person with the complaint would contact the company who's reputation is in dispute. Most importaintly I an neither an Owner or CEO of Vacation Showroom, so though your diligent investigative practices, you've been mistakenly misled, or have altered information to lean towards your favor. I am however a marketing and sales consultant for the company name listed above "Vacation Showroom" Also in response to your complaint, for you to say that the business telephone lines were disconnected, we would like to investigate that as well so if you would contact us in writing with those dates(where the lines were disconnected), that would be helpful for us to pull phone records to find out indefinately, weather our phone lines were disconnected or is this some attempt to make this company sound illigetimate. Now to invoke on the correct information stated, I do currently own several Florida companies, however I'm not quite sure what those seperate compaines have to do with Vacation Showroom, as well as you are correct per Florida Statute, customers are entitled to a refund within a 30-day period. That does mean that you are entitled to recieving your money back during that time frame. (It might also be helpful to document when the "unknown" purchaser purchased, and when they made contact for a refund). Our customer service department handles each customer on a professional manner, and has not, and will not be known to bounce people around! Now just as long as you're within the 30-day time frame you WILL be issued a full 100% refund. (We have been known to issue refunds 30, 60, and even 90-days out under certain circumstances. Furthermore we have made special attempts to contact you thought without a phone number or address this has been difficult. We did come across a Charles Wisely of East Northport NY and a Charles Wisely of St. James NY through a list management source. If these are either of you please contact e-mail at [email protected] or though one of our customer service numbers at 866-639-2002. In closing, as an advisor for Vacation Showroom. We would like to resolve this complaint immediatly, if Vacation Showroom has done anything directly or indirectly to mislead this "unknown" customer we would like to offer them a FREE VACATION on us, as well as a full refund even if this complaint is past 30-days. I might also suggest that the fact that I might be Asian or not, and the fact if I drive a BMW, has no bearing weather your "unknown friend" is entitled or is not entitled to a refund. All customers and employees are treated equally, and Vacation Showroom is an equel opportunity employer.
