We were trying to make a reservation for the Hampton inn and suites in Williamsburg ,va I thought I was making the reservation through the Hampton hotel when I finalized my wants for the reservation I was then transferred to a site where vacations made easy took the reservation and finalized on line I was sent an ei- mail that my reservation package would be e- mailed and I would receive hard copies through the regular mail which I never received and when I called to ask wether or not everything was finalized I was told yes but was never told that the reservations for those days were actually not available until I received a phonecall several weeks later telling me that the theme park would only be open on the weekends in the fall which was when myreservations were made for the dates I originally asked for we're oct.1st through oct.4 th when I was made aware of this situation I immediately asked them to cancel the reservation and refund the credit card several weeks later I was informed by them that I could not get refunded for the dinner theatre package and that the rest of the reservation money could be used at another date that is when we spoke to them and asked them why we couldn't get a complete refund of all the reservation and was informed that,that is not there policy to refund they sent us a gift certificate for part of the cost of the reservation and said the rest could not be refunded at all I then put a dispute in with my credit card company and just received a notice that we were on the hook for the money and I then requested the credit card company to further dispute it because I believe we were defrauded by the vacations made easy organization and they agreed to take further steps to try and get them to refund the money back to the card but was also told not to hold out too much hope
