Vallarta Adventures "Eco tour" has monopoly on photos, and La Caletas Island tour is a waste of money. Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco 48354 Jalisco, Mexico
Vallarta Adventures' zip line canopy tour forbids cameras in order to charge $17 per digital photo (not even printed out!) and $79 for a CD of all the photos. The canopy tour was very fun and worth the price, but the photo scam is ridiculous. Other zip line canopy tours in Belize and Nicaragua allow tourists to use their own cameras, but not this one. Vallarta has a monopoly on the photos.
Vallarta Adventures' La Caletas Island tour is a steep $90 "day in paradise" to a dingy, jelly fish-filled lagoon that also has a nasty stench. Visibility was poor, and the jelly fish were thick.
