We purchased a hot tub from Value Point Distribution on May 24, 2014. Model "Economy Lounger" 5-6 person hot tub, price $3600. It was to be delivered by July 24.
On July 22, we received an email from Steve Winston, Customer Service Manager, stating the hot tub was not on the shippment from China and we would not receive it. He offered us a different model: "Swan 46 jet 5-6 person hot tub" as a replacement and said it would be shipped in August. We accepted the replacement offer.
When the hot tub didn't arrive in August, we contacted Steve Winston, who assured us it was on the way. The hot tub arrived September 4 and IT WAS THE WRONG HOT TUB. It was a smaller, 4 person model. The old BAIT AND SWITCH!!
We contacted Steve and told him we wanted a full refund and for Value Point Distribution to pick up their hot tub.
Steve said he "couldn't do anything" without "speaking to the owner". We have not heard from Value Point Distribution since, the unwanted hot tub still sits in our back yard, and we have not received a refund.
This is a Dishonest Business and I don't understand why the state of California has not shut them down. BEWARE-do not purchase from this sham of a company.

Hot tub was purchased on May 24, 2013...not 2014.
