Everytime I go to play the game, Hitman Absolution, it updates the software. Now I have reached a point where the software will not update, because it is looking for an active Internet Connection and cannot find one, even though it is in fact connected to an active Internet connection.

I wrote to Valve/Stream asking them why it takes a huge 15 minute update everytime I want to play the game. They never answered the question.

I sent them a screen shot of a Valve/Steam prompt looking for an Internet Connection side by side with a screen shot of an active Internet Connection pop-up window confirming an active Internet Connection. They blew it off.

Valve/Steam takes no responsibility for any of this. All the support people want to do is point the problem at my router, which I have none, or my ISP which has not changed in over 2 years. Up to now it has been working through my hot spot with no problems.

Since the Valve/Steam software is unable to update Hitman Absolution, it will not play. Valve/Steam has rendered my game useless and they will not refund my money.

I will never buy another Valve/Steam product.
