I got my home in 2002.  During the years Vanderbilt added their First Home Insurance Policy to my mortgage becasuse i didnt' have any insurance at the time.  I called different insurance companies and they told me it was actually good insurance so I Chose to keep the insurance.  In September 2012, Hurricanne Isaac passed and the winds basicly pushed the bricks under  my trailer sideways.  My trailer was being held up iwth a big chain tied to a tree!  So i filed a insuance claim to fix the underneath of my home.  The insurance and mortage company itself gave me so much trouble it was unreal.  I got harrassed and chewed out by several different Vanderbilt workers. I made a lot of calls and they sent me in circles everytime.  First Home sent someone out to check out damages.  They sent me a check and i had to send it to vanderbilt for them to sign. well Vanderbilt kept the check and wanted me to send in estimates and lists of theings i needed.

I got a few things taking care of, but no one wanted to work on the underneath of my home. So in February after going back and forth, asking them to send someone out again to see that my problem was only getting worse, they said they didn't have to send anyone back out.  I decided that i was not going to pay another payment intill it was fixed.  

Why have insurance if its not going to fix what its supposed to fix? Why pay my mortgage if the trailer was just going to fall down? I have 2 young children who were scared to be in home.

All i wanted to do was have the underneath of my trailer that was 6 and a half feet in the air on cinderblocks fixed!!

I sent in many pics to the company and the still did nothing.

Now it is August 2013 and since i havent paid on my home since February 2013, they ready to take it from me for non-payment.  Vanderbilt is the most aggravating and rude company i have ever heard of!!!
