Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Recently, I took an interview with Vector Marketing. When I found it online, I had to call them as instructed by the website to schedule an interview. Calling the company the receptionist on the phone was really nice and after talking with her kept saying how qualified I was for this job.

After school, I went up the road making sure that I was 10-15 minutes early as they indicated I should be and professionally dressed with my pad and paper. When I entered the building, I noticed a lot of people filling out papers and like three or four including me were only dressed professionally. The rest were poorly dressed as if they came right over from hanging out with some friends.

I was told after filling out my application to have a seat and they would call me back with a one on one since I had a appointment. Sitting for 15 minutes myself plus two other women were called back and told to sit according to how the app's were in his hand.

He sat down real fast and introduced himself as Max Moody and how this was going to go really fast and at the end would notify who was qualified for a second interview. He started with me and asked what was my experience with sales. I said I use to do car sales and I am a hair stylist. He then asked the next two the same.

Second question, how do I feel dealing with the public? I said confident and fine, I am a stylist and use to be supervisor and I deal with customer service all the time. He again asked the same to them. Then he asked, if hired, how soon could we start. I said as soon as you needed me. They answered the same.

He then quickly said well thank you but neither one of you are qualified for the second interview, but if you want you could try back again tomorrow at 10:30. When you leave just ask my District Manager that you want to reschedule another appointment.

This man was horrible. First off, I have never seen a interview where they bring more than one person in. Secondly, there was no recommendations about anything except the girl told me to dress professionally. In which I had white slacks on, a white soft colored flower under shirt and a black blazer with black heels.

Again, the only one other than me were some gentlemen professionally dressed. To me I was qualified for the job. I don't think that you get to know someone in 5 minutes. Plus it said no experience necessary! That they will train you no matter what. This was very disappointing to know that. Plus who knows who else had to travel a long distance for an interview of a total 15 minutes with walking in and all. Thats a lot especially with gas the way it is whether you have money or not.

I am just saying, please be aware. This company is a scam! I looked up the company and found out that they basically do door to door sales but you have to pay, something they don't mention. These people are located all over. Please be careful!

I am currently a Rep/Assistant Manager for Vector Marketing. First off, being that I run interviews daily, there is a lot you can tell from a person right off the bat. If a person is super negative of someone I feel shouldn't be in the office, why would I want them in my office for an hour. So clearly the first part ia essential.

Secondly, the research you did on the company was not legitimate. If you actually spoke to any rep that has worked with us since January of 2011, we do not charge people to work with us, it is completely free.

The thing is, I wouldn't care if people were just saying these things, but what it is doing is much worse then that. It is a sales position and though it may not seem like a real position at first, it is. It changes lives more then any other position I have ever heard of. The people in this world with so much talent or struggling to get by now have a place to go and be accepted and be able to make a good income to support there family and thereselves. By posting things like this, people start to believe it, and everything that is said to be a "scam" is a rumor.

It would be just like going on Google and typing in "Apple Scam" or "Harvard Scam". These two places have been claimed to be scams, however, everyone knows they are legitimate.

Let's just trying to post true information next time when slandering a company.
