Vegas Casino, Nova Management And Payment Systems Or Centers fraudualant check for $3,600 to pay tax on internet won sweepstake Ripoff Halifax Nova Scotia
Hello all, I have a great one for you. I just recently got a check in the mail for $3,600.00 from a sweepstakes that i supposibly won on the internet. I called the #1-902412-0419 ext 2 and was suppose to talk to a susan edwards, but got directed to a linda.She never told me her last name. She told me that the $3,600.00 was for the taxes owed on the amount of $100,000.00.I asked her when I had won this, and she couldn't tell me, she just said that their company verified folks for the sweepstakes. She never asked for any personal info besides my name and adress. She told me that after I deposited the check to give her a call back and that the money would then be sent to a tax collector, but she couldn't give me a name or # untill the check cleared. At that point I was like right, well i wen't to my bank and did the smart thing i deposited the check in a new savings account using my maiden name. I let my bank know about the sweepstakes and told them if need be to hold the check a bit longer to make sure it wasn't counterfiet. Well thank goodness I have a wonderful bank they found it was counterfiet, and the scammers are out of luck. The company is either vegas casino or nova management and payment centers or systems and the check was from an ipswich or ipswitch bank supposably out of massachusetts.
