I have emailed this letter to Vento, sent it regular postal mail, and have filed a complaint with the Attorney General. I have yet to hear back from anyone!

I purchased a Vento Strada RX 150 on May 4, 2005. Since I bought the scooter I have had nothing but problems with it. The front brakes fell apart, exhaust manifold came off the engine, odometer stopped working, and the kick start mechanism never engaged properly!

James at Motor Sports of America was nice enough to take back the old scooter for a new Strada RX150. The replacement is only 4 months and has just over 1000 miles and it is already having problems. The flimsy bolt that holds the right rearview mirror on broke off, the kick start mechanism has never worked correctly, the scooter refuses to start after several engaging the starter for over 30 seconds, the rear brake squeals while when coming to a stop, and the engine runs very rough and does not idle properly after being adjusted twice!

From: Lisa I purchased a "new" scooter on eBay from Juicy Motors (Michigan) in Feb, 2005. Upon assembly, I found that it had a broken throttle cable. I received a replacement part that did not fit the scooter model and had no cables. Had to call again for throttle cable. Discovered that the electrical system is 100% shot among other things: no tail light, fuel line was cracked (and leaking), starter did not work, sand completely plugged the carburator (probably because they found it in a junkyard), pre-used random wiring used throughout scooter, left turn signal defective, no handlebar switches worked (wire tab fell out of handle), horn defective, headlight defective. Opened front cover to inspect the wire harness and all the wires began to fall out of the connectors. Wire harness then fell apart. Scooter's trunk was missing lid rail, so a piece of wire was screwed in to make it work a bit like a trunk. Juicy Motors likely knew what they were selling, as they stopped returning all my phone calls and emails. Piece of junk.
