ROBERT SIRIGNANO Promised 1.69 for all credit card processing, just like what the big companies get for fee's. Then told me I could get new equipment because they would buy back my old equipment and was promised $1500- for it, and this never happened. No one ever came to pick up the old equipment. He had me sign a 48 month NEW LEASE for new equipment and told me the old equipment wouldn't work properly with their system, but they would buy it back for the $1500- And this was not the TRUTH.

The fee was supposed to start at 64.95 + tax and is now up to $74.80. Now in looking at the signed lease, the salesman ROBERT SIRIGNANO signed my initials (FORGED THEM) in the insurance rider on policy which is why the fee has gone UP to the $74.80

Then when the bills came I found that only a few of the transactions are at 1.69% as we key punch in the most of our transactions.

And now I find online I can get the same VERIT machine for approximately $250- total without the pinpad machine attached (that we don't use anyway)

In calling VERICOMM, no one answered my constant messages left, until four months later... ONLY to tell me they can't do anything with the lease because they aren't the lease company... FDGL is, and as far as the $1500- for the old machinery, they have no need for it nor any intention of taking it back, Robert SIRIGNANO was incorrect in telling me that they would buy back the machinery.

Ron, Clear up a few questions please. 1. You said you received three machines from Vericom? 2. Did you also get the check reader and pin pad? 2. Did you sign the Vericomm lease for 48 mos? If so, what is your lease payment? 3. You said your rep had a check for $500.00 sent to you plus 3 payments of $70.00? 4. Do you have your copies of the original lease and the processing agreement? I will now tell you what you really have. I worked for Vericom and I have to say you were misled badly. 1. The reps have to get you to sign the lease agreements to to get paid! Vericom is 100% comission only! They do in some cases share the residual. 2. YOUR REP TOLD YOU A BOLD FACE LIE!! The cheapest comission paid out on a approved lease is $1000.00. They max out at $2500.00 if you lease all three pieces of equipment! They receive payment the day after you start using your equipment. 3. When you received your equipment your rep or a company rep installed and activated you. AND THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART. You had to VERBIALLY VERIFY with a LEASING COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE the term and amount of lease. THEY WILL ONLY PAY VERICOM after this has been done and it is recorded by the leasing company. 4. DEBIT TRANSACTIONS ARE NOT FREE! Please look at the schedule of fees on the paperwork he should have keft with you. You are paying .65 per transaction plus $5.00 per month for your debit statement. 5. Did your rep tell you how much your "Mid" and "Non" qualified rates were? This is where Vericom makes alot of money. These rates are very high and never disclosed. Mid means "Key Entered" or "Card not present" ie phone order. Vericomm also charges you this rate if you swipe a "Rewards" Visa/MC! Non means business or commercial Visa/MC. These rates are very high and make them alot of money. 6. If the refund you received did NOT come directly (on corporate checks) from Vericom watch your checking account as you will still be debited monthly for those terminals you were sent. The leasing company does this as they OWN the lease you signed and Vericom CANNOT stop them from taking the money! Please give us an update on your situation. Ask your rep to show you his check stub from your deal and you will see that he is a liar!

I actually came onto this site to report another company called Summit Merchant Solutions. I actually signed into a new lease and agreement with VERICOMM about five months ago. I never knew that this site existed. I will never make another purchase decision without I thought it would be good idea and run Vericomms name and that is how I came across the alarming comments made about Vericomm. I took the time out and reviewed all of the statements and I would like to express with all of you my findings. First of all when you try to decipher the billing statements that in itself is cause for aggravation. I am sure you will concur with my statement however I did have some questions on the Vericomm bill and I placed a call to the rep that sold me my unit and services. I was approached by a Vericomm representative named Johnny Mendez back in April of 2007. His timing was perfect because I was having major problems with Summit Merchant Solutions (SMS); in addition I had just finished my lease contract term with SMS. I was with SMS for over four and a half years and I paid them about $160 per month for 48, months. When I met Mr. Mendez I told him that I would not feel good about paying for another machine. He did an analysis for me and we figured out that I was in fact paying a discount rate of 1.79 on all my debit bank swipes. It would cost me more he said to stay with SMS over the next four years then to switch to Vericomm. In fact I received three new machines at a monthly cost of $70 per month. After reading all the negative comments on this site I checked if in fact I was also being victimized by Vericomm. My findings I'm sure are the same for everyone else. My rep told me he would have a check sent to me for the amount of $500 plus the original monthly cost for my machines should have been 149.95 per month. I don't know why one of the comments on this site says they never received a check because I sure did. Maybe there rep didn't do as promised because of inexperience or just plan lazy or it could also be related to his commission check somehow. I can tell you that I am still a new customer however I am happy to date. I mentioned to Johnny that I came across this site and asked him if he was aware of the negative remarks on this site. He told me that he was not aware of the site or the comments however he did give me the following explanation. He said that most people that try to read there monthly billing statement have no idea on how to properly read it. It is however according to him the responsibility of the sales rep to always be available to there customers during and after the sale. He also told me that all the reps only are paid commission and from what he explained the commission was not much. He told me that if he would have charged me the full price of $149.95 for the monthly lease he would have received a commission check for $500.00. He also told me that he would receive residuals for as long as I used the Vericomm terminals. It turns out that for the amount of $25.000.00 in charges he would receive a monthly residual of about $15 to $20 dollars. He also added that Vericomm forces it's reps unlike all the other processing companies to charge 0% on all debit Visa or MasterCard swipes and if he would be able to charge that discount fee his commission would double. I have checked all my statements and he is not lying. I am not paying a discount rate on any debits. I took the time out to type my experience with Vericomm and Johnny because I think it is not right to say those negative things and brand everyone in the company since I had not been lied to or treated badly in any way. I have referred Johnny to other friends of mine that also own businesses and I would have been very embarrassed if in fact Johnny was a manipulating thieving sales person. However I am happy with my choice and hope everyone that meets a Vericomm rep does there homework. I am sure the outcome will be as good as the one I received. I think if the others would contact there reps as I did and ask for an explanation they would get one as I did and if they did not I have a strong feeling it is not related to Vericomm but rather to the sales rep. My rep was happy to help me right away. Call my rep Johnny at 505-489-2223 or email me at [email protected] if you have any questions about my experience. I did receive permission from Johnny to give you his phone number. Best of luck; Ron Horowitz
