Verizon FNS [Federal Network Systems] is a company with a large presence in the Northern Virginia area.

Verizon FNS is also a company with a management who engages in some "questionable" management practices to include colluding with management employees, and Government customers in a shady fashion in order to secure and maintain contracts.

Verizon FNS has managers who believe that they are above reproach and can participate in lying, backstabbing, setting employees up for failure, and conspiring with Government customers at will for personal and business reasons. 

These personal standings lead to setting other employees up for failure if a supervisor doesn't like an employee, and the managers are willing to back that supervisor in setting them up for failure.

The Verizon FNS managers primarily are concerned with three things: Themselves, their Bonuses and Protecting the Verizon FNS Contract.

Verizon FNS managers also are not above appointing different employees to "watch" other employees and having them report back to management on what they are doing on the job in order to findout information which can get that employee, "fired". 

Backdoor office politics and management practices are at their finest at Verizon FNS. These styles run from the front line employees who are being manipulated by management, to the Supervisor, and on up to Project Managers, Directors, and Human Resource representatives at Verizon FNS.  

It is a work at your own risk type of work environment based on the environments that the managers help to create and foster because they do not care about anyone but themselves and what they have to do to advance within Verizon.

Verizon FNS managers are also not above siding secretly with Government customers who are attempting to break known policies in order to retaliate against a Verizon FNS employee whom they do not like.  

Verizon FNS managers are also not above setting an employee up to do the "dirty work" which they do not want to face because they are attempting to maintain a contract and look good for the Government customer.

Verizon FNS managers are not above discarding that employee and leaving them without support and in a hostile work environment which they have allowed, after the "dirty work" has been accomplished.  

Verizon FNS managers will also set traps for their employees as they see fit and play games with them which further their personal agenda. 

Verizon FNS managers will intentionally omit vital instructions for work needing to get done on a Friday afternoon in order to have an excuse to throw that employee "under the bus" on a Monday morning because now they can "blame" them for something.

Verizon FNS managers, are definitely not above asking a Verizon FNS employee to do things which will displease Government customers, then denying that they asked that employee to do those things when the Gov't customers are sitting in the Verizon Manager's office with questions.  

Verizon FNS managers will turn on their employees in a heartbeat for the very same things which they have asked them to do if it is necessary for them to do so.

If you ask a Verizon FNS manager to assist you as a Verizon FNS employee with a work related concern which only a manager can accomplish, they will give you a dirty look and treat you as if you are wasting their time.

The bottom line is that Verizon FNS is a "questionable" company who has some "questionable" Project Managers and Directors who care only for themselves, their advancement, their bonuses and the company's bottom line.

Verizon FNS is not a good company to work for if you like ethical management and straight forward dealings with Supervisors and Managers.

Verizon FNS is also not a good company to work for if you do not like coming to work to face a hostile working environment.

Verizon FNS is a vampiric corporate entity and it uses and abuses its employees at will because that is the heart and soul of its corporate culture.
