It is amazing, isn't it? I had a huge problem with them, that is still ongoing becuase they too turned my account over to collections- I had my phone shut off because I moved, and reported the address change in writing and over the phone, yet it never went through. I paid my mothly fee, but apparently there were overages, which I had no intention of paying without seeing a statement. After promises of correcting the situation, I get sent to collections, now for close to $400 because they charged me an early termination fee of $175!!!! If they ever manage to prove I owe for overage minutes, I'll pay. But I will take that $175 termination charge to the grave!!!!! I wish the FTC would step in and do something! It sounds like more people than not have been screwed by Verizon Wireless. Their customer service is none-existent. All they try to do is get you off the phone.

I was a customer of verizon for four years.no complaints...Until around Jan of 04'.I began to question the compentence of verizn billing.I tried to contact them on this matter and i was never able to communicate with a fully "english" speaking person..Do not get me wrong ~i am in no way judgemental~~However, i am american and i am a very outspoken person.... My Jan bill was Questionable so i called to get some explaination~~all i could get was someone that had no idea what iwas "inquiring about" even though i described word for word in plain spoken english~ My aggrivation is as simple as this: i have been having a billing problem with verizon for sometime and they simply chose to ignore this problem no matter how hard i tried to explain in simple context.. they chose to ignore me and my certified letters of dispute~Even though i continued to pay them $100. a month even though i disputed my bill...(just to keep my credit in perfect standing)they F"*cked me over and disconnected my service and charged me the $175. cancellation fee for two phones. My billnow stands at $784.00 and they will get this money only whenthey pry it from my cold dead fingers~~not a minute before...( i share a dislike with all of you over this corrupt, money hungry,usless phone service. I went out and ordered service with someone else and verizon can rot ~~i tell all my customers to run as far away as they can from verizon~~~~~~~
