Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I received my verizon bill and there was a data charge on it for $9.99, I called in to figure out what it was and dispute it. The representative at Verizon told me that it was a charge from a company called predicto.com, that sends these text messages to people asking them to make predictions on many trvial events, such as will there be a 4th season of JAG?? etc. Furthermore he informed me that he couldn't reverse the charge because this particular company has a double OPT IN policy which is where you phisically need to go to a website and enter your cell phone number than a PIN is sent to your cell phone you then need to return to the webpage and enter the PIN to activate the service. Apparently this is supposed to protect consumers from fraudulent charges!! (TRY AGAIN!!!) I have never before viewed this webpage nor would I ever be interested in something like this, these SCAM companies are marketing this crap to our kids and big companies like Verizon are getting kickbacks so they are doing nothing to protect their customers from the BS charges. This has to STOP!!! Verizon!! ever hear of a little thing called honesty!! YOU NEED TO PROTECT YOUR CUSTOMERS FROM THESE THEIVES, NOT GET INTO BED WITH THEM, ALL TO MAKE A BUCK!!! it's so sad that there is no such thing as integrity anymore in the business world, it comes down to who can scam the most people out of there money............

That would have happened even if you were with another carrier. Those TXT packs are other companies that you as a customer have to do your self. I do agree it is targeted toward kids and I do not like that at all. But Verizon has nothing to do with that. If you see on TV commercials txt ***** this to ***** to get free ringtone, jokes, or whatever, read the quick small print that they show. It say's with you will pay $9.99 per month. That is a charge from that service not your provider. We do not like them either. Sorry that happened to you.
