Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Verizon Wireless has overcharged me approximately $1130 since this January. I've been charged for services I did not incur: gross excess minutes, premium services, multiple text messages and data services, none of which are valid charges. Verizon has been completely unresponsive in responding to my complaint.

Their Fraud Department says they are all valid charges and claim they are all made from my cell phone. They don't see a problem here. I see a major problem. My phone is always in my pocket, in my hand or on the charger at night. I believe they are unconscionably ripping me off for services I never incurred and never will incur.

By the way, we signed up with Alltel many years ago. Any differences with Alltel were quickly resolved.  Last year Verizon took over Alltel. We've never been satisfied with Verizon's service.

If you think the charges are fraudulent, then you need to go online at verizonwireless.com and look up all your details. It will show you all the calls made including the dates, times, phone numbers and number of minutes for all the calls on your phone and it will also do the same for text messages and internet usage. If you see something in your details that definitely do not look right like numbers you don't recognize and usage all throughout the night and early morning, then you may want to print that out and take to the Verizon store and show them exactly what you are disputing.

If you just call in to them and say "these prices aren't right; i didn't use all these minutes or text", then you're not going to get anywhere..... You need to be very specific. You can't expect them to investigate anything just because you say so. They have customers calling in every hour claiming how they didn't use that many minutes and how it must be an error. Do your own research then call them back and be assertive, direct, and exact.
