Verizon representatives at the call center in Tampa, Florida, misinform, mislead, or lie to customers resulting in additional charges to you, the customer. Talk to three reps and you'll probably get three different answers. This is so common, that I now call three times, and talk to three different reps, to get the answer to one question. But that did not even help me this past February, because the three reps all gave me the same, incorrect answer. But later when I received my bill, I was told another story. It seems that Verizon reps are not sure how promotional minutes work and informed me that the 163 promo minutes I had left, due to expire, would apply to the overage for my entire billing cycle in February. After I received my bill, they told me the minutes would not apply to the second half of the billing cycle, and proceeded to charge me more than double my normal bill and more than double of what I was informed earlier. Even thought I called several times prior to using these promo minutes (so I wouldn't go over and be billed extra), they deceived me and billed me accordingly.

Furthermore, Verizon Wireless does NOT credit you for dropped calls. Yes, they say they do, and will deny that they do not, and even argue each dropped call and say you have a credit, even when it is clear on your statement that they do not. They give you such a hassle, and waste so much of your time, that it isn't worth spending 10 minutes on the phone to get your 1 minute credit for each call. When this puts you over your minutes, Verizon is stealing your money. This may amount to MILLIONS $$ that Verizon scams from its customers. They still owe me money they took from me for dropped calls they never credited, going back six years! This practice is worthy a civil suit.

Verizon still will not refund over $270 they charged me for a defective phone, under warranty, that I returned to them two months ago. Furthermore, several of their employees in their Tampa call center, whom lied to me about my service resulting in additional fees of over $50, still have not responded to numerous calls, emails, and letters. What scam is Verizon involved in now? I was victim to their long distance switching scam in the 1990's. Good thing phone numbers are portable now.
