www.rugerforum.net is one of a bunch of forums run by VerticalScope, a Canadian company, and is a waste of valuable time and messes with a person's free speech rights. rugerforum.net is aimed at shooting sports enthusiasts and advertises.

rugerforum.net, fortunately is not part of the well managed and socially responsible Ruger firearms company.

Moderators frequently give apparent insider information without documentation and show little actual hands-on experience and limited knowledge of subjects like gun-smithing, ballistics, reloading and ammunition components. Moderator knowledge on many subjects is dated and is at the "tinkering" level. There is a bias against certain manufacturers showing ignorance of the product or process.

rugerforum.net usually ridicules or neglects safety sugestions regarding components that are flammable, toxic, or explosive.

rugerforum.net assigns members ranks like the United States Marine Corps (USMC) related to posting numbers. The forum moderators ape USMC O7 and above ranks as forum generals. Moderators hand out suspensions (brig) or banishments (dishonorable discharge) with no due process as would be required by the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).

USA shooting enthusiasts support the 2nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution yet moderators show ignorance or disrespect of the 1st Amendment by ridicule, disparagement, or removal of members who make valid suggestions showing subject knowledge and skills - a legitimate publication would not permit this.

My guess is that rugerforum.net run by the Canadian VerticalScope has no respect for the 1st Amendment and there is no Canadian 2nd Amendment.

rugerforum.net is not a nice place. Reasoning and normal socialized behavior is messed up - snarky and pithy responses are common. Various "experts" descend on responses that are out of accepted vernacular with unmasked contempt and condemation.

A member od rugerforum.net commented on a large number os graphic photos of non-game animals showing the consequences of impacts from close range, high velocity expanding bullets; he/she suggested that this would provide anti-hunting groups ammo to promote their cause. This member's suggestion caused ridicule, some of the sexist type. The moderator in charge of this section was clueless of the large number of politically influential members in anti-hunting groups. Moderator and members showed ignorance of existing political reality.

In my opinion rugerforum.net run by VerticalScope is of little technical value, an avenue for hostility, and promotes economic class differences - a fake forum. Spend your time on the shooting sports, not that forum garbage.
