Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

If youare trying t sell your business, DO NOT list it with this company. If you do ,you will see your business advertised on various web sites but  potential buyers who  see the ad and inquire about it will be not be given the information they need to decide if they are interested in it or not. Buyers are asked "register" by providing thier name, address , phone number etc,and aslo sig a Non Disclousre Agreement   before given access to  financial information about  your business on thier website ,which is all well and good ..All brokers require basic information  and a non disclosure or confidentiality agreement be signed before  releasing  confidential  information  as that protects the seller and also thier possible commision, and it is great  thet everything can be done electronically and  a buyer can getinformation immediately rather than waiting for a broker to call or emial it to  him.

The problem is,that with the "Standard" registration only  limited financial information..sales expenses , net profit..etc is availabe tothe buyer..which, while important is useless without knowing what buisness  they are trying to sell ,and in order to get the name and address of the buisness they want the buyer to  become a "PREMIUM" member and AY THEM $9.99 .Trus me, many buyers will just move on to  look at other businesses that are  represented by brokers who  do not do this, which as far as I can tell , is every other broker in the country..I know of no  others that charge a fee for that information, and have dealt with many over the years, having bought and sold several businesses myself.

It's rediculous and completely  counter productive to selling your business to limit who gets to learn about it  only to those who want to pay them a fee for the information, which  only serves to line thier pockets   without them having to actually do anything..like  talk to prospective buyers and  sell your business!

List with a broker who is going to present your business to every  buyer who is interested..as long as they do sign the confidentiality agreement, of course.. That should be all that is required, and is all that is required from every broker except these thieves.

First, if anyone is SERIOUS about purchasing a business, your captial should be include monies for investigating your buy. If you don't have this money, YOU ARE NOT READY TO BUY. Perfect way to weed out people who really aren't ready.
