Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I'm trieing to find someone that can help me get my checks back. They are going to Criss Cross in Clarksburg W.V. They are tring to be a payee with out our permission we need something done.

It has been 7 months as of today. I only get 2 hundred dollars a month and that is less then a welfare check and my checks are suposed to be $1,742 there is about 11,000 dollars of my money that I can't get setting in a bank. Either you all help us or we will do something about it, we will get everyone in trouble.

I have been receiving benefits since 1990 and this is the 1st time that I have had any trouble trying to get my checks. Everyone tells me that i'm going to get my check and I never do everyone is giving me the run around. They are holding me against my will and doing what I don't want them to do.

We in the United States have rights and freedom but what rights do we have when this is being done to us and for freedom how can I have any freedom when I don't recive my money, that is what I have to survive on and how am I suppost to live off of $200.00 a month when I was getting 1,742 a month.

I have needs and how am I going to be able to do any thing when people do this to me. I fought for this county in Vietnam War I have this right. I could have lost my life and now you all want to do this to me. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

They did this behind my back and took over my checks what rights do they have to do this to me. I did nothing wrong. They are thinking that the money is theirs. We have contacted them several times and no one is doing anything about it.

Like I said before my checks is being sent from Veterans Affairs in Hunnington W.V. (Regional Office) to a payee represtiave at Criss-Cross in Clarksburg W.V. I'm disabled and can't work I have parkinson's desease and have to take lots of different medications.

My grandaughter helped me with this "I can't stand to see him hurt like this" (grandaughter). This make 7 checks now that alot of money unacounted for. Case #/ S.N.# : (social security number DELETED in accordance with law and Rip-off Report policy)

I am a disabled veteran, 100% P&T, and incompetent to handle my finances (not by a juditial process). I have filed my own protest against the Oregon VA in a post here- search for veterans administration- you will find it. First, I would like to correct you. You don't have a "payee" in "criss-cross", you have a federally assigned fiduciary. Secondly, they are within their rights (but this does not make them right) Third, you may or may not be located in Criss-cross. Fourth, you have rights they are not telling you about. Look up VBA handbook 1004.1. You have a right to a "surrogate decision maker", you have a right to have your decision making process constantly monitored, to see if it returns (yes, your decision making process is in question right now). You, or your surrogate desision maker, have a right to refuse treatment and to leave Criss-cross if you are there (but this will not change there status as your federally assigned fiduciary. The previous responces to your posts may be inacurate. People should not talk unless they know what is going on and the VA certainly does not want people to know what is actually going on. Search ripoffreport.com for "veteran", and look for my name- "Rondal" from Beaverton Oregon. you will learn some very valuable info and some much needed websites. As for your previous respondent, he should check my posts in my report. He may need some education on the real "incompitancy" issue (absolute power corrupts absolutely)

After doing some research on Criss-Cross, it is as I suspected. You apparently are in an assisted living facility. Whenever you are in a county, state, or federal assisted care facility, you sign over the majority of any retirement/pensions/disability payments you are recieving. Usually at least 70% Here is who they are: Contact Us ------------------------- Center for Excellence in Disabilities Contact Information Address: Center for Excellence in Disabilities 959 Hartman Run Rd. And what do they have to do with the VA? Some things do not add up here. Do you have direct deposit or are they mailing your check? Is someone else your legal guardian? Do you live in some sort of assisted living facility? You can file a complaint with the Deparment of Veterans Affairs in Washington, DC. Also, if you have direct deposit, see if it is a problem with your bank or if your deposit is being "split" between your bank and another bank. I'm still curious to know who this Criss cross is. Do you know them? Have you ever signed any type of agreement with them?
