I was a victim of misleading advertising from Videoblocks.com. I was billed $ 79, because I don't unsuscribed before the 7 days trial. I contacted via mail with such Nikki Jones and he told me that i was agree with those terms described in fine print, which I can not substantiate. It's a scam. The worst of all is that they charged me $ 79 for a month subscription and I could only use it during the free trial. They charged me something that I never used. I try to communicate with administrators first to ask for a refund and then, because of its negative, to allow me to use the monthly subscription fee (improperly charged) and I have no answer. Watch out for these miserable.

Okay, I went to creativecow and I found an ad from this company. I clicked on the ad and it takes me to a form to fill out for a free 7 day trial. When you fill out the form you have to check a box that says "I agree to the terms and conditions" in order to submit your order. If you read the terms and conditions them you will see that you have to cancel before 7 days and billing is automatic.

There's no ripoff here, nothing misleading at all. you chose not to read the terms and conditions of the offer you were accepting.

First, I agreed to the offer through a Newsleter of creativecow.net. In the newsletter did not say anything about charging anything. While I can not say whether or not that information was in the application forms, I can asure there was a message asking my credit card number just to make sure to misuse the site, that I was not going to be charged of anything on the card. After reading that, I proceeded committed to completing the form.

Gentlemen, that information must be clear in all steps. as in all the sites where I bought something. The important step, the one when you introduces the credit card number only said it was just in case and I wouldn't be charged. And it is misleading because the "advertising", that is the place where the people advertised the offer, that is, in this case, creativecow.net, not say anything that I would be charged at 7 days. I do not cancelled for that, I was waiting for automatically cancel or, at best, let me know they were going to debit the money and ask me for permission.

What videoblocks is malpractice. An asterisk next to the title was enough.

The site tells you 2 times that you have to cancel the account by the end of the trial. It is right there in front of your face. This charge is entirely your fault and you should take responsibility for your carelessness.

I just went to their website, clicked on free trial and read it. When you sign up there's a box you have to check that says "I agree to the terms and conditions" if you click the terms and conditions you can read what you are agreeing to. In the terms and conditions, under free trials:

"FREE TRIAL
Free Subscription Trial: You will be asked for valid credit card information when you sign up for the free trial. Videoblocks.com will use the credit card information for future subscription fees should you fail to terminate the trial subscription within the timeframe provided by Videoblocks.com. We will start your 7-day free trial upon completion of your trial signup. You may cancel your trial subscription without charge at any time within 7 days of placing your order. If you do not cancel your free trial subscription within 7 days of the date you start your trial, your subscription will continue automatically and the monthly fee will be billed to the credit card or other billing source provided by you when you signed up for the trial, on the first day of each successive subscription term. Such billing will occur without further notice to you. Should you choose to discontinue your subscription for any reason before expiration of the then applicable subscription term or the trial period, you may cancel your subscription and terminate future billing by calling 866-282-5360. "

so you did agree to be billed if you did not cancel within the 7 day trial period. No ripoff here, just a failure to read what you are agreeing to.

I went to the website to look for this "fine print" as you called it, and I was surprised at what I found. This is what I found:

. If you do not cancel your free trial subscription within 7 days of the date you start your trial, your subscription will continue automatically and the monthly fee will be billed to the credit card or other billing source provided by you when you signed up for the trial, on the first day of each successive subscription term. Such billing willoccur without further notice to you.

The funny thing is it wasn't in fine print at all. It was in BOLD print in a section clearly titled "7 Day Free Trial". It was easy to find in the Terms and Conditions and easy to read and understand. This is not their fault, it is yours for not reading and abiding by the terms that you signed up for.
