Be careful with this guy, Vince Van Horn, he is a total fraud and so are the white label solutions he sells, I lost 5k with this guy, he sells cheap solutions from poker networks, casinos and sportbooks that do not pay to operators, affiliates, and players. I already reported this guy to www.ic3.gov (internet crime complaint center). The websites this guy use to scam people are www.ownacasino.com, www.pokersitecentral.com, www.gamblingbusiness.info, www.alliedpokernetwork.com, www.accesscorp.net.  All of you out there, careful with this scammer!!

E-MAIL RECEIVED FROM MARTIN OWENS, ATTORNEY AT LAW (Specializing since 1998
in online and interactive gaming law)

http://www.trade-attorney.com/

Dear Mr. Parodi,

        Thank you for your e-mail.

I am sorry about your misfortunes regarding the white label poker company. Unfortunately, Im afraid I cannot give you much encouragement in the matter of recovering your money. I have been advising online gaming businesses since 1998, and I cannot recall ever having heard of Access Corporation or CASINETO.

There are, I regret to say, a number of unreliable and fly-by-night operators out there at any given time, and it looks like you have had the bad luck to encounter one of them. My experience tells me that even if you could successfully obtain a judgment from an American court- or , for that matter any other court-  against either Access or CASINETO, it would probably do you no good. As a practical matter, companies like these generally owe much more than they can possibly pay to investors, creditors, and so forth.  One cannot squeeze blood from a stone. Any more time or money you spend on this matter would be wasted.

The best I can do for you is to advise you not to give these people any more money. Of course you are at liberty to go to the various forums and chat rooms of the other gaming sites and make your grievances known, and this is, in my experience, the closest thing to an effective remedy that is available to someone in your position.

Once again I am sincerely sorry to hear about your troubles, and I am sure that the money lost is no small sum for you. But I regret to tell you that I do not believe any remedy I could apply on your behalf would be effective; to the contrary, it would simply spend more of your money to no purpose. Please allow me to close by wishing you better fortune in the future.

Sincerely,

Martin Owens

No Fraud. No Scam. Just Libel

#3REBUTTAL Individual responds

I sincerely resent this defamation of character and libelous statement. We will discuss with our attorney on this matter. Our company was established in 1994 and is a small, respected and honorable company. We are a web design, host, and broker for software developers and online gaming operations. We are not involved in gaming ourselves or pay any players or affiliates. If you search online, you will not find a single negative post about me or my company except for this one. This is not a coincidence. We are an honest firm. We will not allow this defamation to continue and ruin our reputation. There is no fraud or deceit in this matter by our company. We have been responsive, provided total transparaency and honesty with this person as he acknowledges below. This person has not been harmed or ripped off by my company. His issue is not with us as he makes it sound that we are a scam and intentioanlly deceived him. His issue is really with the poker network that he has set up his poker room operation with.

As an example, let's say you were looking for a software program, found it on E-bay and purchased it. Let's further say that months later you had an issue or question about the software functionality and attempted to contact their support. Now you find the company was out of business. Who is your issue with? Ebay? or the software company?

This person came to our company looking to set up a gay poker operation. He reviewed our offerings and decided to go with a smaller network as he felt this would benefit his operation and some custom changes could be done for him. We proceeded to start designing his website and graphics as well as set up the license for his poker room with Casineto.net. During this period many changes were made to the poker room operation and design. We had to wait literally for months to get full information, data or graphics from this person while we were waiting to complete the gay poker operation. The site was completed and is still online. http://pridepoker.changeip.org/en/gettingstarted/download. More changes were requested and being worked on when the poker network Casineto.net has some operational and software issues while moving their servers. During this period, Casineto.net had experienced a loss of incoming revenue and therefore created a cash flow problem for them. Therefore some payouts to players or affiliates were coming more slowly. Sometimes in the business world these things happen. Companies can go out of business. They downsize. They expand. This issue with Casineto.net has nothing to do with my company.  We are not involved in their operation in any way.

I have attempted to put this person in touch with the CEO of Casineto.net so he could discuss his concerns. Even though his website and the poker network have been up and operational for months, he has not had any players or affiliates deposit money and play and then not be able to collect. This is merely speculation on his part that it might happen. He is concerned that the poker network he had joined had some issues and that he will also have issues. But, his claims about the network not paying people is not as a result of his personal experience. He has not a claim that he can bring forward from his own poker room. He has no monetary damages to seek. Casineto.net has given him his website and online poker operation that is fully operational as they contracted to do for him.
