Vindale Research Total waste of time, they don't pay! New York New York
This company boasts to pay individuals for filling out surveys. Once you sign up, you will start getting an unlimited amount of emails inviting you to take a survey. I have noticed that sometimes there can be up to 50-60 emails from Vindale in one day. When you open an email and click on the "take survey" link, you are redirected to to the survey in question.
Note that the take survey link will describe the amount of money the survey is paying and the amount of time required to complete the survey. However, the amount of pay in the description is never what it says it is and therefore an educated guess is that the org offering the survey is willing to pay the amount in the description and Vindale takes a portion of that pay for themselves.
You can never fill out all the surveys offered in the emails, because usually more than half of the invitations either become instantly no longer available or after wasting 10-15 mins answering questions they tell you that you don't qualify for the survey in question. I personally wasted a few months of my time, each day a few hours filling out surveys until I get 1-3 of them that let me complete the survey (usually the low end pay ones will go through).
It should be noted that while sitting at my computer, I will be notified of a new survey and I would immediately respond and many times it would say that the survey is no longer available despite telling me it is just a few seconds prior and then kick me to a survey that will pay only a few cents. After a few months, I submitted a request for a pay out.
Wow! They do not allow you to get all of the money you built up into your account, they allow only a portion of it. They send you the monies via pay pal (or so they claim). I waited and waited for days, checking pay pal multiple times per day....nothing! Vindale boasts that you can contact them via chat, phone, email.
There is no chat, their listed phone number does not have live people and only canned responses telling ya to send an email and good luck trying to get any response to emails. Multiple emails over the course of a couple of weeks gained no replies. So what exactyly did they do?
They wasted my time, after requesting a pay out they deducted my account and then they never paid.
