VIP Finance - JD Lake Owner's Son VIP Finance ignores customers so that they can repo their vehicles ripoff Richarsdon, Texas
Sent last to final payment on my truck for the 11/15 payment. Requested that they let me know what the pay off was. I knew I only had one payment to go. I didn't hear back from anyone in this office (they have 6 in the metroplex).
I went on my medical missioanry work and returned on Dec. 22nd. I still had not heard from anyone at VIP. On Dec. 28th I awoke to find that my truck was missing. I called the towing company to my apts. There were no reports. I then called VIP Finanace and they said they had my truck and I now owed them not $259.00 but $1220.00.
I went to their office and was treated with nothing but contempt and condescending by the manager who gfoes by JD.
I told him that I didn't believe his Father had built a business by acting in bad faith and treating his customers like I had been treated.. And that this office certainly wasn't acting in good faith.
He laughed and said it was my problem and that I had two options pay $1,200.00 or refinance the $265.00 for another $995.00.
I told him that all he had to do was give me a call and I would have gladly come up. That I was merely waiting for the pay off. He said he had too many customers to baby sit ones that were behinde.
I told him I wasn't behinde when I sent my payment in and requested the pay off. All he would do is laugh and say that it was my problem.
I honestly don't think that this was the first time they have done this to their customers. I paid the $1,220.00 and they said that they will mail me my title in 5 to 6 days.
