These people, in addition to lying about the "free" one month service told me outright that there would be no contract of how long I had to keep the dishtv service. Now, after having to give dishtv a termination fee because they have your credit card, VMC is trying to collect another 290 dollars. These people should not be allowed to do business in Fairfax or on the internet. VMC sent me a letter WARNING we report unpaid debts to all major credit bureaus, "Our Collection is ver Good. If this is not a threat what is. Who knows what that means, some thug will come to your house. Please never do business with these people or dishtv. If I can I will take both VMC and dishtv to small claims court. If anyone need me to sign a petition or get into a class action suit with VMC satellite inc or Dishnetwork TV I am willing

Dear Editor: I want to explain VMC Satellite, Inc.'s business to you. We are a dealer for Dish Network. It is not our CS people that are uniformed, rude and abusive. Call our company. I gave you the number. I would like to speak with you to explain our business. In this instance, Dish Network may have breached the contract first. Not VMC Satellite. We do not have anything to do with Dish Network or DishNet except that we find customers for them. The same as if you went into Radio Shack and signed up for Dish Network. Is it Radio Shack's fault if Dish Network bills its customer wrong? Then why is it ours? You keep saying that "we" intentionally do this. Our company does not. It does not benefit our company if a customer does not sign up for Dish Network Service or if they cancel. We only benefit if they sign up and remain a Dish Network Customer. I personally like your website. That is why I have decided to respond myself. All that I am asking for is a fair shake. It doesn't bother me that you dislike Dish Network. Just please keep us separate in your mind and where possible, on your website. Thanks for your time and if you need any clarification or would like to speak to me, you have my number.

This is a common customer service malady. You can help, but don't. Your CS people are uninformed, rude and abusive. We don't buy this escuse. You breached the contract first, by your own admission.

This customer was installed in September 2001. He canceled service in December 2001.

If he was having problems getting credit for the free month, he should have contacted our company and we would have helped him.

This customer did get an early termination letter. This letter was automatically generated when Dish Network reported to us that he had canceled service. However, we rescinded this Early Termination Fee due to his problems with Dish Network.

I am sorry that we were not given the chance to assist this customer.
