I ordered 2 Vonage units on Monday Feb 20, 2006 over the phone using their toll free number. I had specifically asked them for a 2nd business day shipping and because I was ordering over the phone, the sales rep guaranteed me that the activation fee was going to be waived which is $29.99 per unit. Monday being a national holiday, I was expecting the units by Wednesday.

On Thursday when I called them enquiring about the units, they said the order has been put in the system on Wednesday. On top of that they put in one of the units as ground delivery. I had to carry these units to India on Saturday and now I have only one unit. Vonage ecepts the fault that the second unit was not mailed for 2nd day. I have no use of the unit here in NJ and they do not want to cancel the order for the second unit without charging me a cancellation penalty.

Above all they have charged my card the additional $29.99 times 2 for activation which caused my account to go ver its limit and the bank has charged me $35.00 overdraft. They are not willing to pay for that too.
