You committed to a contract, you canceled it. This is black and white. You canceled your service early. It clearly worked, you just needed professional installation to get your service working with your computer. Vonage works over the internet, so clearly the internet was working during this time. Your computer and networking equipment just were not configured in a manner for your PC to work. All ISP's do and care about is to get a PC on the internet, so instead of hiring an actual technician who could have easily made both work, you had the ISP come in and break Vonage's settings just to get your one PC working. ISP's do not work with Vonage, routers or anything else, they just get internet service to the modem to one PC.
