I have recently disconnected my service with Vonage back in Jan 06. At that time, I was given a reference number for my disconnection. Thinking that everything is ok with Vonage, I said goodbye to the Cust Service rep. A few weeks passed, I look at my monthly bank statement and saw that Vonage charge me for some fees, understood as I may have used their service one last time after my call to them. But what I don't understand is that come Feb 06, Vonage once again charge my account! I called back Customer Service of Vonage and I spoke to person named Naga (will not give me his last name).

He gave me some story that there were additional fees from my previous call in Jan. I told him that Vonage collects their money one shot every month i.e. if your balance is $50 they will collect it in whole not partial payment. He said well there are some other fees applied, etc. Just for me not to argue with this Vonage customer useless service, I told him that to make sure I will not get any more charges and that I want my Vonage service to be disconnected (ref number 3713720, req date:1/17/06). This Naga person told me that it will take three to four weeks to disconnect my service. I was fuming at this time but held back and told him to not give me bull as it only takes less than 12 hours to disconnect a service. I demanded that he put in another request to disconnect my service. He replies back and said three days (this was requested on Feb 7). I called my old number back yesterday and it was still live. I mean this is just ridiculous and callous of Vonage to not honor the requests and maybe they will try to collect again on my account for Mar billing. I have already told my bank not to honor Vonage's activity. Class action lawsuit to stop this horrible and deceptive acts!!! I will never use Vonage again - been warning my friends and people about Vonage.

Once again I checked if my old number with Vonage is still in service, it sure was. After digging out my Vonage web password to log in to my account, it shows that it is still active. This is after making two phone calls to their Customer Service that promised me that they will surely disconnect my service. I also checked out their "rules for payment" it says "You will always be billed ahead" meaning they will charge me again by Mar!!! even if I am not using their service any longer - This is a total rip-off!!! Never ever use Vonage, they'll empty your bank....... By the way their corporate address: Vonage 23 Main Street Holmdel, NJ 07733 732 528 2600 (Don't know if this is real)
