my father, my daughter and i stayed in a vrbo property in little gaspaspariila island florida for feb 1-15,2012. the pictures on the vrbo site were not at all consistant with what we stayed in for the vacation. the undrinkable water was not mentioned- the house had a repugnant odor when entering due to the water in the sinks and the shower. none of this was mentioned on the vrbo site. the owner had junk all over the home, from their shoes on the master bedroom floor, to their leftover food in the refrigerator, toiletries left on the master dresser, an outdoor shed that we were privy to that was loaded with their junk. getting to the fishing gear was virtually impossible. the cable tv worked less than half of the time. we lived out of our suitcases for 2 wks as all of the closetsw were filled with their junk as well as the drawers. the house was filthy when we arrived, yet when I asked for the security deposit back, they would only give me a partial amt back because they said that it took 13 hrs to clean it.....i am certainly not surprsed about that. the place is a DUMP!
