Wachovia DO NOT OPEN A BUSINESS ACCOUNT WITH MORE THAN 1 PERSON IN SIGNATURE CARD Matthews North Carolina
WACHOVIA would let any person (employee, secretary, wife, friend, etc) take your name off the account without notice nor authorization, as long as that person has her name in the signature card. I (the business owner) was a victim of Wachovias's policy which allows any person take another person's name off the account.
Their policy consist of "first in first served" (according to branch manager). Whoever comes in and is listed in the signature card can ask for any other person in the signature card to be taken off.
After my bookkeeper took me off my own business account I was not able to see, draw, or get any type of access in my account. in the mean time the bookkeeper took off with over $70,000 in expenses, and checks to her family members.
