We bought 4 douglas tires 40,000 mile quarenties with warenties and in less that 3 months and only 2,000 miles later one of them blew out. We returned it to walmart and they said that we ran over something that caused the side wall to split and the worenty would not cover it and charged us for another new tire. I knew that was not the truth so, I took that tire to a well known tire dealer and they covermed to me that it was a manufatiors defect showing a soft spot on the blow out spot and no unusual damage or marks to the tires tred area. 

About 9 months later we took the car in to another walmart because we moved to rotate the tires. After shoping we returned to the auto service and got our keys and returned to our car in the parking lot. It had been moved but the tire were not rotated. We retured inside and the guy at the desk did not know what was done. After several minutes and talking to several people. He told us that they would not rotate out tires because the tred was too low. They had only 12,000 miles on them! Then he said that our wheel alignment was out. We measured the tred closely and they were all wareing even but very low both in air and tred. We had to spent more than an hour listening to him lie to us and make false acusations blaming our toyota corolla for the tire problem.

I worked as a machanic for several years and I have never seen such poor quality tires and service. The walmart service department lied to us several times. Ripped us off and refused to service and rotate our tires that we bought from them only 1 year earlier and only 12,000 miles later.
