I was employed with Walt's for 15 years and they always treated me with the utmost respect and they would go out of their way to make sure I had the miles each week to take home a good check. I know the idiot who filed the negative report on walt's. Mr. James "Jim" Jimmy lazy a*s wanting everything handed to him on a plate "Ward". Yes James Ward. He wouldn't hit a lick if you threw him in a pit of rattle snakes and he had a stick in each hand. He really really should be riding a short bus instead of driving a truck. However, he did look the part of a truck driver with his dirty a*s cowboy hat, worn out boots and his chrome chain with his purse attached to it. As far as not being able to collect unemployment from Walt's, that is another sign of "lazy a*s" or "unemployable a*s" because truckers are in demand like nurses if you are a good one. There is only one reason a truck driver can't get a job. Did I mention" worthless lazy a*s syndrome". Mr. Ward you should be check for this. I think you have had it for some time. And for preventable accidents that you are blistering Walt's about, you where an accident from the begining. I hope you have found a career by now and I sincerley pray it ain't driving a truck. I think everyone a Walt's treats everyone fair except for idiots like you. Idiots like you never get treated fairly, because people like you create such turmoil with stupidity there is no way to treat them fair or equal. If everyone was treat as equals and you were in the bunch, then everyone in the bunch would have to be treated as retards. Suggestion, Mr. Ward, why don't try to get a job as a Walmart door greeter ? Well on second thought, you would gripe, b***h, moan and complain your way out of that job also. You probably would stand a better chance of getting on disability, Mental Disabilty thats about your only hope of income for the rest of your life.Good Luck Mr. Ward.

Accusations can easily be backed up with paper work, logs, reciepts and lies can't be backed up at all.
My only problem with a driver defending a company is, they are going to have some happy drivers or they would have no one.The company should be able to defend themselves because they are the ones keeping the records of every event.
I wish nothing but the best for all and God Bless.

The person that filed this report was let go because He was involved in a rear end accident at night with a pick up truck in the State of IN. The pick up truck was on the shoulder with no lights on. Seconds before the accident the pick up started rolling with no lights on when the driver of this report failed to see the truck in time to avoid the accident and rear ended the pick up truck. The State police accident report stated that the Walts driver was at fault. Per Tom Berry, Safety Director
Notice in this drivers report He talks about HIS accident
QUOTE
" Have a non-preventable fender bender, no tickets issued, not reportable to DOT, no injuries, neither vehicle towed and he tells you that it is a NON-PREVENTABLE and has been put on your DAC report as such only to quit the job and he gets pi**ed and changes your DAC report to a PREVENTABLE accident and you call him on it and he tells you he never got an accident report from the state of Indiana. Well hello dipsh*t, I called the Indiana State Police and was told that is was a NON-PREVENTABLE and that he never requested one! It required William to get off his lazy a** and reach into the company funds and PAY for one! I got the report myself! Then me, unaware that William had changed it on the DAC report I applied with a different company only to be called and told that there was an accident on my DAC report."
Now about Walts Drive-A-Way Service Inc 321 N Kerth Evansville, IN 47710
I have been with Walts who is based out of Evansville, IN. off and on sense 1991 this Company in not much different than other trucking Co. The longer you work here the better it gets for you as a driver. Other Co. are the same way, you have to prove yourself. I am a Intermodel driver that is home every night and off most weekends.
For the past 3 years I have grossed over $38,000 a year so you can make a little money here and enjoy your time off. I have received every safety bonus but two and that was my fault due to speeding tickets. I enjoy working here and hope to be here till I retire.
This fool who filed this report is pissed off because he had an accident and Walts reported it on His DAC plain and simple. Just another Cry baby truck driver!

I will agree with some of what was said...Like Tom beating around the bush & lying about he says on the mail room, or lying to drivers about what he knows.
The DAC report. You really need to fight that. Get your own copy(like you said you did). And fight to have it changed. The so-called Safety Bonus is true also.
One thing I will say you were wrong on is the Night Dispatch. I do know that if a load was not scheduled for you during the day, you will sit over night. But, you did have a load by 10:00 the next morning to..If not they(Road) would tell you too.I did learn that very early in working here. Also, Night Dispatch is only there for you to call in to let them know that you were empty. Or if you was rescheduled for a load he would tell you also. The only thing night did/does is tell you what Day did. IT IS NOT HIS JOB TO GO SEARCHING FOR LOADS! You know that as well as anyone who works for them.John does paper work & such just for call in purposes only.
As far as paying for a bad tire out of your check...Well you are full of horse s**t there Bud. Never have you done that. Yes, you will lose some of that 1cpm safety bonus. But hey cover your A$$ buddy. As far as the accident. Well I can tell you that you are lying there too. WDAS alway gets reports as soon as they can. I have talked to NJ about that. She had to do that for me.Standard practices there in any trucking business.
Like I said some true. Some not.
If this guy was out fishing he caught a 3 ounce bass & called it a state record.. Quit trying to blow it out of proportion there feller. And I hope you found a new job...Better yet I hope you went out & baught your own truck & authority..Because you will not go to another compay with those lies you are telling.
As so should you. As far as theHome Terminalbeing in St. Louis, Mo.(STL)...You are so wrong! You know that it is based in Evansville,IN. & that STL is only a small terminal for STL Dispatch/drop yard only.
STL only deals with the 5-8 drivers that are there for Intermodel only. All others go through EVV(Evansville).
As far as Load Boards...The driver NEVER,EVER even looks at them!No one ever told you to look @ a LB. That I do know you are lying about!
Shelby always looks for the long runs(over 500-600 mile out..Otherwise the Road does it.
As far as the EFS(Not Com Data) you could have told the Safety/Payrow clerk to get online copies of them to prove you did'n't ask for it. Easily done. I don't know why you left. But it does sound like very poor terms. I do know that WDAS always fights any UI filing(even if they let you go). As far as the driving the 2 states away for the reload...Well you very well could have. BUT I also know you got paid for it also...So quit your BITC$%% on that part too. You was not an O/O WDAS got rid of those 2 years ago. And all they did was intermodel to STL & back to EVV.All loads go thru the office.
I can Say this they do treat you good & bad...Believe me I do know that.
