Warner Health Care Makers Of Avlimil Automatically billed my credit card without my permission Cincinatti Ohio
Saw an ad on TV for a herbal product for women called Avlimil. Advertised was a 30 day free trial. Went to the company's web site www.4avlimil.com. Ordered the trial cycle and gave my credit card info. to pay the 4.50 cents shipping and handling charges. I received the first 30 days supply for 4.50, no problem.
Three weeks later, they sent another 30 tablets. When I called to question them I was informed I had signed up for managed care program and would be sent more Avlimil every month and my credit card would be billed 35.00 every month indefinitely until I canceled.
The web site was extremely deceiving. I read the original page very carefully to look for the "catch". It now informs the consumer that all free offers automatically sign you up for the monthly billing. At the time I requested the free sample the web page from which you make the request gave the prices for monthly managed care program, but did not mention that you would, by accepting the free sample, be automatically signed up.
Now, that information seems to have been added. When I called to see if I could return product, I was informed of a no returns policy. Really deceptive and not customer friendly. Steer clear.
