I had gotten a card in the mail for a warranty on my vehicle, and didn't want to be charged an arm and a leg at the dealership, i chose Warrany USA. After giving them a deductible of 345.00 dollars and taking out $44.44 dollars a month, realized they weren't taking out the money on my account for about 2-3 months, I decided to call them.

When I did, a message (recording) said they filed Chapter 11 and couldn't do anything because their funds were frozen. I had asked why they didn't call or write, they just stated some bullsh*t. So I asked when would they resume business, they said after may 23, 2002. I went to try to cancel my membership, and they had said because it was after 90 days, no refund would be given and if i had work done on my car it would have to come out of MY pocket, and I would get refunded (maybe) at a later date.

I didn't want to take a chance on relying on them, so I decided to look into them (which i should have done in the first place). Now, I am complaining, because i should have gotten some notice in the mail regarding this, verses me calling and finding out they had filed Chapter 11. Very Dis-satisified with this company.

I had to repair my vehicle (Ford Mustang) last year. The process was so painful and finally I nailed them to pay on what they supposed to. However, if this company file Chapter 11 this implies that my car has no extended warranty anymore, and who will responsible for this. First of all, I think FORD should be responsible for this also, because when I was in Raleigh, North Carolina, I got a letter from this company and told me that it was an affiliated company with Ford. I did call Ford at that time and they did confirm, I believe. So to speak, I did decide to go with this company and I pay for the full amount. After I moved to College Station, TX, I needed to contact this company about the repair, I called FORD about this company. It said that this company is no longer an affiliated company. So what can I say? I suggested that the credit card company (if you use it for the payment) should help us in investigating this case also, I don't know. There are so many things happened / happen to me but I just keep my mouth close.
