Warr's Wrecking Bone Yard EnterprisesAnthony Warr's Wrecking a rip off,Anthony a big liar and cheat Lansford Pennsylvania
On or about Sept,2014 I did an internet search for a replacement bed for my 2003 Ram pick up. On 9-18-14 Anthony of Warr's Wrecking sent me an e-mail informing me he had located a bed for my truck. I then called Warr's and talked to Anthony who asked me the color code for my bed. He then said he had a maatch The bed was located in AZ and was in like new condition complete with spray in bed liner, tail gate, lights, etc. All I would have to do was remove my bed and bolt the new on on plug in the lights and i would be done. The cost was $2,850.00 . I thought about for a few days and called Anthony back confirming the bed's condition etc. He said it would take 2-3 weeks to get it. He said he would take bank check only, no credit cards. This was my first warning I foolishly ignored. I sent Anthony a bank check for the $2,850.00 A lot of money for a bed but because it was basicly a new bed it would return my truck to great condition. Anthony went on with this prepaired speech about how the bed would be shipped. He told me that should the bed be damaged when I receive it I should accept the shipment and call him. He would then make arrangenments to have repairs made locally. He said this was more efficient and less expensive that shipping the bed back and forth. My second warning I ignored.
Finally after several calls to Anthony sent me an e-mail on 10-3-14 with shipping information.Tthe bed arrived at my home a few weeks later. When it arrived the trucker informed me that the bed looked damaged. I examed it and saw several dents and dings all over the bed and tailgate. Closer examination reveiled a broken tail light and severed light harnes. I also noted it did not have the spray in bed liner it was supposed to have. It had a plastic bed insert.
It was obvious to me that the damage did not occur in shipment but prior to it being created. Many dents were behind support boards. Further most if not all damage had been circled and marked with a white marker. A summary of damage was written on the taigate. Per Anthony's instructions I took pictures of the damage and sent them to him after an initial call to him informing him of the damage and missing spray in liner. After several e-mails and calls Anthony, on 11-5-14 sent me an e-mail informing me he had filed an insurance claim for the damage. I called him and he said he would be sending me a check to cover repairs and a spray in liner in a week or so.
I have called and e-mailed Anthony many many times, no response at all. Here it is 3-15-15; 6 months after I ordered this bed from Warr's Wrecking and I still don't have the bed repaired or on my truck. I continue to wait for the check from Anthony.
After reading of similar experiences from others I conclude that Anthony is a cheat, fraud, liar, and the worst kind of scondrel there is and should not be allowed to remain in business.
A call to Warr's Wrecking today is answered by a message From Anthony under a new name, sounds like Bone Yard Enterprises. Looks like he has changed the name of his company.
