Washington Mutual ripoff, Delayed Funds slow prossessing Orlando Florida
On May 29, 2003 I deposited a check on my account with Washington Mutual. I was told the check will take 5 business days to clear even tough it was a local check and my account was almost 4 months old.
Next day I wrote and check and mailed thinking that it will about the week to be received and processed by the company that was to receive it. The check came to Washington on June 4, one day before the hold would come off. They returned the check unpaid, charged my account 29 dollars and got me charged 30 dollars from the other company.
I called them to find out what happened. I told them they could have hold on to the check until the next day or pay the 200 dollars since they were gonna have access to it before I did. The umpleasant customer rep said no and they are a business to make money. In conclusion, Washington mutaul don't care about it's customers, they are just in it for the money.
