Wave Software Jay If you want to work long hours on the phone and ake no money, this jobs 4 U Internet
During my interview, it was explained to me I would be given leads of attorneys who were currently litigating cases. I was to call the attorneys listed and ask them to sign up for an online demo of his software, which was supposed to save money on e-discovery. I don't know where they got their list from, but over 50% were wrong numbers, people who had not worked at the firms for years or they were disconnected. I spent a lot of time checking my leads against the Law Firms rosters, listed on the internet. I was given spreadsheets that appeared to list 100 different leads. Some had so many repeats that one list literally only had 2 different names out of 100 entries, a woman on maternity leave and a man who had not worked at the firm for 2 years! Most of my calls went straight to voice mail and I got not one response after 100's of calls. I did manage to set one appointment. When I asked when I would receive my paycheck, I was then, and only then, told that the person had to attend the demo, and she didn't. When I accepted the job I was told I got paid whether or not they attended the demo and that I would also receive payment if I sent Jay a "hot" lead and he got them to sign up for a demo. This turned out to be untrue as well. Unfortunately, I had none of this in writing. To make matters even worse, I got the flu and lot my voice for 2 days. The 3 days before, almost every firm I called was closed due to 2 blizzards on the east coast. When I e-mailed him to let him know I was sick, he told me I was not cut out for the business and we should part ways. A monkey could have done my job! I was so insulted. Another 2 weeks wasted spending hours on the phone, research on the internet I should never had to do, trying my damndest, that was the 1 in every 60 calls where I got thru to an actual lawyer, all for nothing. I won't say it's certain it's a scam, but I would stay far away
