Wawa In Elsmere, Del bad business acts from wawa (elsmere,Del) abused & mistreated employee, nasty people Elsmere Delaware
I worked at Wawa in Elsmere,Delaware. And it was the worst job I've ever had. First of all,the manager said to me that I HAVE to start wearing make-up to work because its "more lady like". And if that wasn't enough, (first of all I have Neurofibromatosis, which is a disease that can allows me to be prone to tumors, and I do have a small one behind my left eye)anywho,he came up to me and said "You need to save all your money you make here and fix your eye". And said it infront of customer.
They also had me working past my shift because someone decides to be late and I dont get paid for it. The last straw was when I came down with a horrible cold one day,and I had to call out because I wasnt about to work in the deli being as sick as I was. And they told me no matter how sick I was, I better come in the next day. When I did,they had me working in the back freezer all day,unpacking drinks and food,and the freezer can get below I decided to "screw" them over and quit without giving notice. Which was a sweet revenge because at the time they were shorthanded.
Now another thing you should know about this Wawa,the hotdogs, I come in some morning and there will be hotdogs 12hrs old,sitting there for customers (we are suppse to change them every 3-4hrs), And The coffee,they were so cheap they had us poor old coffee into new ones so we wouldnt waste any.
They are such horrible people to work for,the best way to describe them bluntly is :white-trash.... BEWARE OF ELSMERE,DELAWARE'S WAWA!!!
