WaxVac No info for cancellation or return - Cheap product! Wallington, Connecticut
I had a similar occurrence with Alan who filed a report on this site except I called to order the product for my mother. It was all automated and I was never told the final amount even after I put in the credit card number. I got the deluxe with the chinsy case and batteries for both sets of WaxVacs that were supposed to be buy one get one free with shipping and handling. The thing is they charge shipping and handling for each WaxVac and for each case with batteries. I didn't think it was going to amount to much.
It wasn't until I looked at my account online that I got charged $48.02. By the way the customer service number was on my account - (866)-595-3268. (I just realized that after searching the internet for a number to call to speak to a person for a refund). The product does not work. They gave me the following address to return the WaxVacs: WaxVac 400 Return Rd, Wallingford, CT 06494.
A couple days after I ordered the WaxVac a telemarketer called to confirm my order and offer a budget saver membership. They kept telling me what a great deal it is and how I would save so much money. I told them I was not interested and they kept pushing for my credit card number saying all I have to do is call to cancel. I told them "I am telling you now that I do not want it and do not want my credit card charged." Finally they said ok and hung up the phone...a couple days later I got charged $29.95 for the membership before getting the information in the mail! I called 1-800-916-1813 to cancel and refund my credit card.
