Wayback Burgers Jakes Wayback Burgers Corporate hides fact that franchises that have been open for more than 1-2 years are doing very poorly . Most are for sale for pennies on the dollar Cheshire Connecticut
Changed existing name several times owner a few years confusing customers. Poor upper management that were failed Blimpie franchisees. Only concerned about themselves making money so they can go public and sell franchise for significant money. They do not care about existing stores, just want to keep opening new ones. President of company gets very angry when you mention declining sales year over year and blames it on franchisees -even tho they do exactly as corporate recommends. I am only one of many who sold at huge loss due to declining sales, higher cost of labor and operations as they continue to change their operating system, signage, food preparation and equipment. No strategic plan, lead franchisees to locate in poor location with high rents. No corporate support as promised. Again , corporate profits over franchisees profit. They discount food so much as to be sold at a loss to the owner but they take 5% of that sale, so they make money and you’ll lose money. Take my advice and do your research and don’t believe a word you are told at their "discovery day” Every franchisee I know or have spoken to is losing money or had to sell at significant loss . These are people who were very successful individuals who were ripped off by this "Franchise "
