WAYNE CRAIG - GATEWAY2FUNDING stupid low life con artists that takes advantage of small companies, says can get you funding, says he can help you, but instead is a criminal who RIPS YOU OFF for thousand of dollars Las Vegas, Nevada
I own a company called Dawn of Dawn of Children's Publishing, Mr. Craig contacted me the middle of September. He promised me that I would receive funding or seed capital to grow my business. He emailed me a contract saying that if funding did not come through in 17 days my $8500.00 would be returned. It is way past 17 days and no funding nor correspondence with him since 10/6/05. A conference call was scheduled on that day which never materialized. It is way past 17 days.
Mr. Craig contacted my money representative for funding: My broker for funding (John Reidel) sent Wayne Craig $4250.00 to him in a cashiers check, I sent 3750.00 in a cashiers check and my editor sent me $500.00 in cash in total for $8500.00. Wayne Craig signed for checks at the Bank of America in Nevada under the money tree check cashing system.
After initial contact Craig spoke to me several times and told me he was an investor. He would provide a letter of credit in the amount of 1.5M to my bank Chase Manhattan and the bank would give a loan against that money. As things progressed, He even spoke to my banker a VP of the Small Business Development. I mailed a cashiers check to start the funding process of $4250.00, my editor gave $500.00 cash and my money broker gave me $4250.00. We were supposed to have a conference call, 10/5/05, which never materialized. He put in signed contract that money would be returned in 17 days if no funding were received in that time.
