I was hired as Switch Board Operator and started work May 10, 2005. I worked 2 days and was off 4 days. I worked 1 day had 2 days of orientation (rules about hospital and give employee handbook) which turns out to be a book of lies. I worked 2 more days. I was not as of yet having hands on training. I worked one day with R. Eddie, 1 day with dot, 2 days with Sandy then I was on my own with Paula, on May 29, 2005 I worked with Eileen Roedeer the Manager. She on that evening Violated the Hippa Privacy Policy several times. She told me how she hated some of the Swith board operators and how Sandy was rough around the edges.

She warned me Dr. Diana Lyon Loftus was a real ding bat and Eileen would like to have her removed from the Hospital. She said Dr. Rogina was arrogant and to ignore him.

I had a couple more days with Sandy Hummer where I was doing the copying, cashiering, down time for nurses and drs. Logging on and checking admissions and removing discharges. Handed out keys and had them sign keys in and out. Paged people, took messages

for Drs. and had them beeped. Made sure Funeral people got death certificates. cleared out cc machine put tape under Jeffs adding machine. Announced visiting Hours were over etc.

I worked by myself on June 3 2005 I thought I was doing a great Job. I told this Paula, I called and spoke with Eileen on June 6 2005, told her I felt great never knowing things were going down behind my back. She called me at 11:00 and told me I was non-productive and that made her non-productive and I was not working out. This coming from a Manager who has no knowledge of the Switch Board and all you do there.

I in turn got in touch with Administration, Mike Hockenberry who told me not to come into work that he would look into this issue

I was never so humiliated, frustrated, or treated in such an un business like manner in all my work years. I have been in Mangement for over 25 years. I have hired, fired, (only on theft), trained, did banking, scheduled, and handled all ordering and was Manager of the year 5 yrs in a row. He took his time in getting back to me so I called because I was ready to go to work. I was looking forward to the full week ahead and the income I needed very much. I am 58 white and I feel I was discriminated against because the Manager was a stupid young woman who got her Job by knowing the people inside. Eileen never failed to let the other girls know this.I was told by employees still there and by employees she did the same thing to. Eileen Roeder should be Terminated she is sneaky, unethical, she is uncouth and very deceitful. She talks bad about all the employees under her and over her.

Mike told me on June 7,2005 I was not to come back I was terminated without no reason. I was physically, mentally, emotionally ill for days. I received my termination notice on June 10 2005. It was made up of a web of lies verified by Jeanne Walck. She was going to look into things but said she was afraid she would get fired. They have threatened another girl who they have physically ill because they HATE HER that is Eileens words.

Paula, Eileen Roeder, and Cheryl Rose a snake in the grass kind of person in Human Relations wouldn't know Human relations if she ran into it. They are known as the Elite of the Hospital.

I met with Mike Hockenberry and Cheryl Rose to try and tell my side of the story which I really didn't have a side because Eileen Roeder wrote the lies about me. (This to me is discrimination I had no idea I was going to be terminated before I was trained.) Cheryl Rose admitted she has to do what Eileen says. Mike Hockenberry did not ask anyone anything about me. He said if Eileen says it he can not do anything about it. EVEN though I was right and they Lied about me. Why can't someone see what is happenin here. Why can't I have a say? How can they get away with all these lies and the Employees over them not do anything about this. The whole Hospital is vicious.

I took my Friend along Nancy Hospelhorn who listened to everything. I was not going into the Lions Den alone. She asked about a Policy Manual she helped create years ago and knows it has to be updated on a regular basis or the Hospital would not be accredited. Mr. Hockenberry asked Cheryl Rose where it was and she said she can't she it she is no longer an employee here.

I was tried, convicted, and hung and I had no defense. I have only myself and God who know these people are devious, vicious, back stabbing liars and the Waynesboro Hospital is not a place for the sick it is a sick place.

Waynesboro Hospital never gave me an exit meeting

I was called by an employee and told it is Policy to give a warning, have a face to face meeting, try to work out the issue! I do not as of yetKnow why I was terminated! I was told everyone leaving gets a chance to have an exit meeting. I was never told in person I was terminated. I was called on the Phone and told I was non-productive. Mike Hockenberry said I was not useful! They made up lies about me and they never gave me my time to speak. I just today received a letter from the rabid dog Cheryl Rose saying I could no longer call or talk with the Hospital about this. I have to go through their Lawyers! What a Joke. I am meeting with numerous employees they have been dirty to also. The CEO Ken Shur would not even acknowledge my Letters. The Administrater is afraid of women Mike Hockenberry this is a known fact. The Human Resources is Cheryl Rose who gets off on making other people miserable. I do not know how she sleeps at night. Eileen Roeder The Manager who says she hates the Switchboard Operator R. Eddy, S.Hummer is rough around the edges and Eileen finds her not someone she would have chosen. Mary Ann is non-productive but thank God she was there before Eileen because she would have her terminated also. Eileen Roeder also stated Dr. Rogina was an arrogant ridiculous person. Eileen stated that Dr. Diana Lyon-Loftus she helped remove from some place she was working and would love to get her removed from the Hospital. She is a person that is spiteful and hateful and I have no reason why she used me. I have been emotionally, physically, mentally upset since this all happened and NO ONE WILL LET ME SPEAK. I thought this was home of the brave land of the free. America. I was given the shaft and no one will help me.
