I started work May 10 2005 as a Switchboard Operator. I worked approx. 11 days. I was shown by 6 different people how to run the switchboard, some which did not know how. I worked my first day on my own June 3 05. I thought I was doing a great Job. There are about 60 different items to learn and train for to do this Job.

I had called my Manager Eileen Roeder the week before and told her I knew most of the procedures but I would like a few more days on the training of the switchboard (hands on). She said I sounded bitter! I was not bitter I loved the Job and the People coming and going. I have worked my entire life with the Public and I was in Management. I love working with the Public.

I was up and ready to go to work on the 2nd shift on the 6th of June. I was to call in and tell Eileen Roeder how it was going.

I called in at about 8:20 and told her I felt good about the Job. I felt comfortable about being by myself. I received a phone call back around 11:00 AM telling me I am non-productive which makes her look non-productive and she did not think I would work out. I was completely caught off guard. I in turn call Mike Hockenberry the Administative Dept. He said do NOT come in to work until I check this out. The 7th of June he calls me with Cheryl Rose in his office and tells me I am terminated and not useful to the Waynesboro Hospital. I still did not know why I was terminated. I had to go through stressful, emotional, and Physical illness until I received my Termination Paper in the Mail June 11, 2005. It was made up of a web of lies. It contained small incidences taken entirely out of context just so they had something to report.

I highlighted all the lies after covering my tracks by going to some of the names named and finding out they knew of an incident but it was no reason to fire a person. I was also informed I did know how to close a cash drawer that part was a lie. I did not repeatedly cut off calls. It was said at the meeting Eileen laughed and said we all cut off Drs. and calls once in awhile that is nothing to get upset about!

I called Mike Hockenberry to ask if I could talk with hime about this letter. He returned my call and said he and Cheryl Rose the lady who helped write the false letter would meet with me. I in return took My best Friend along to listen because at this point I know The Waynesboro Hospital is unethical, unfair, and will go to any extreme to rid theirselves of someone. I showed him the termination letter and where it was a web of lies and false hoods. He had to agree with me that it was. His excuse is He could not over-ride a Managers decision! He is above her.

I asked about what is stated in the employee handbook that PT employees get 120 orientation days before they were evaluated. (Mr Hockenberry said the employee hand book meant nothing!)They recieved a warning if they were not doing the Job correct. They would be written up first. I got none of this. I had information from people where Eileen Roeder went behind my back and said she didn't think I would work out. Why didn't she come to me?

Mr Hockenbverry stated Eileen did the training and she knew within the first day I was not going to work out. Excuse me Eileen Roeder does not know how to run the Switchboard she said this herself. I never had any training from her! She if anyone should have been fired on May 29 2005. She violated the Hippa Privacy Act and that is immediate dismissal for anyone else.

I recieved an unsigned letter from someone within the Hospital who told me they knew this was going to happen Eileen was going on vacation and she did not want to be bothered with me. The three elite had a meeting Eileen, Cheryl, Paula, another name was mentioned but this Lady confirmed that the termination was falsely reported. Eileen just did not like me so she set out on a very unfair, unethical, way making Waynesboro Hospital look like it is terminally ill and the patients need help.

Tue, June 21, 2005

I Just learned that my Job was posted June 10, 2005. I still had not heard any reason for my dismissal. I was told briefly on the phone without any warning or explanation. I received a Termination Notice June 11, 05. It was post marked June 10, 2005. I was still unaware of what I had done wrong. According to the termination letter after speaking with some of the persons it was a web of lies and deceptions made up by Eileen Roeder, Cheryl Rose, Paula. I DID KNOW how to do all the computer work included. I DID KNOW HOW to do a CASH DRAWER. Eileen was supposed to have been my trainer as said by Mike Hockenberry. That was another concocted lie. Eileen doesn't know how to do the switchboard herself. It is know by all and has been stated by all switchboard operators who work there. I type 50 words a minute. I knew all the Codes, I did NOT cut off numerous Persons on the Phone. Dr. Rogina as Eileen told me is always arrogant. Eileen stated she wished Dr. Diane could be fired. Eileen is a Manager imagine that. I am now not frustrated I am furious.
