We Pay
Select State/Province, USA

Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

My partner opened an account with an online money transfer service (that is similiar to paypal), in hopes it would help us with online payments from those clients from out of town. It is called WePay or wepay.com. They lure you in with some neat looking features, however after they get some of your money they want to hold on to it (probably to earn them extra interest somewhere down the line) and not let you deposit it into your regular bank account. Even after the account with wepay was verified (they do it like paypal), Three different support agents kept messaging telling me there are problems with this, then that, then this, then that, then this, just over and over, just making up reasons why they do not want to transfer the money. Paypal and other pay services all have ways they can deal with charge disputes. These wepay people pretend that a simple business (non-adult business) is risk for chargebacks. LOL. Is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard..Like I said they just make excuses to hold on to your money, or to hold onto it longer. behind the scenes they are probably earning interest on it. They keep referring us back to their terms of service, but most companies like them have similiar terms of service, and they dont make you run through all these ridiculous hoops just to open a simple online account. The first customer support agent should have made us aware of these so called problems to begin with (which she did not). Both her and a couple other support agents just basically pretending they dont know that the other one is saying, just a typical run around. So this company is a TOTAL RIPOFF AND SCAM YOU SHOULD AVOID THEM TOTALLY !!

We Pay works with "Go Fund Me" not "Go Pay Me". In oreder to have a Go Fund Me account you have to have a We Pay account. Like I mentioned avoid them, its just a waste of time.....

We Pay Update

We Pay did send the Money to the Bank Account without a 30 day hold.  Once again, the thing that is really strange about We Pay is: "why are they running off those with legitimate transactions" ? Once again, our transaction had nothing to do with any prohibited activities and had nothing to do with anything adult content related activities whatsoever.....We have a website, and nothing on our website even advertises any services that are prohibited or adult either. So im really puzzled at their actions. They basically seem to just be "Cherry Picking" their clients. Which is odd because We Pay does work in connection with services like "Go Pay Me (which requires a We Pay account)" which is a pay service that allows people to randomly fund projects. So if We Pay is randomly backing up random funded projects through "Go Pay Me", why are they running away clients with totally legitimate transactions in the first place ? It really makes no sense to me...... Obviously, I would still recommend to the readers to not waste your time with We Pay, beacuse in the end, mosy likely, that is all that it will be, is a waste of time. Beacause what will happen is that after your first transaction, We Pay will just say "Sorry We can no longer support your transactions", then you will have wasted your time with them.....

A Couple other details about Wepay. We didnt notice this when we first signed up with them, but in addition to all their fradulent activity, they dont even have a contact phone number listed on their website, AND they dont even have their company address listed. We realized this when we started having issues with them, We did eventually find a phone number after we had googled their company name, but the phone number we found, just had a voice recording directing the caller back to their website again.
