Complaint Review: Wealth Creation Investing - Internet

Dear ‘John’,

Your report is full of inaccuracies except for one major point:  As you state, your credit card company did not issue you a refund after you disputed this charge because you were not entitled a refund. You failed to fulfill the terms and conditions you agreed to at the time you purchased this service and your credit card company sided with us after looking at your ‘evidence’ versus ours.  Not satisfied with the decision of your own credit card company you now take to the web to slander my company as well as my service to this country.  Both of these points should show readers of this report something about your mentality and ethos.

Top Gun Options has trained thousands of students for over 4 years with very few complaints.

To start with, there is no ‘free trial’ with any Top Gun Options product.  The program you purchased was $38 for a 2 week test flight into 2 live training services.

You obviously did not read the disclaimer at the time of purchase or pay attention during the live training webinars.  It is also clearly stated in the disclaimer that I personally read at the start of every webinar that the trades are placed in virtual/’paper trading’ accounts.  If you failed to read or listen to that disclaimer at the start of every webinar, including the webinar you attended and purchased this service, this disclaimer is also clearly stated in the terms and conditions not only on the sales page above, but on the Top Gun Options website.  Finally, the Trade Monster platform displayed during the promotional and training webinars says ‘Paper Trading’ at the top.  Apparently all of this eluded your grasp while not eluding the vast majority of other subscribers.

Here is the first sentence in the disclaimer that thousands have read and heard except apparently for you: 

Access to this webinar is for educational and informational purposes only.  Consult a licensed broker or registered investment advisor before placing any trade. All securities and orders discussed are tracked and monitored in virtual (“paper”) trading accounts. Virtual account prices and returns may differ from actual trading results.

The disclaimer goes on to say:  Neither Top Gun Options LLC (TGO), nor its affiliates nor any of their respective officers, personnel, representatives, agents or independent contractors are in such capacities licensed financial advisors, registered investment advisors or registered broker-dealers.  Nothing contained in this webinar, website, or promotional material constitutes a promotion, recommendation, solicitation or offer of any particular investment, security or transaction.

And here is the language on the second page displayed and read on every webinar (capitalized as shown, for people such as yourself):

We strongly urge all of our subscribers to open paper trading accounts and not to trade real capital until they are confident in their abilities to trade options and after consulting with the professionals mentioned in the disclaimer.  The fact that you deployed real capital immediately is akin to reading a book on aerodynamics, skipping the flight simulator, and running out the jet and trying to get airborne.  That’s how people get killed in my world and that’s why we don’t do that.  As the pilot in command of your portfolio, you ‘sign for the jet’, no one else does.  This concept of personal accountability was instilled in me as part of my military service that you slander.

This is intellectual property that we cannot recover.  $100 is obviously more than the $38 you paid for your trial.  Additionally during the 2 weeks of your test flight you attended live training sessions that lasted hours. None of my time spent preparing for or delivering those webinars was ‘free’; another reason we do not have ‘free trials’.  As a professional I deserve to be compensated for my time.  Try telling an attorney or doctor you work with for several hours that you don’t like their advice and you’re not going to pay for their time.  Nothing is free in life, or at Top Gun Options, so the main premise of your dispute is completely off base.

You did not cancel within the specified time period and as you agreed to and you were charged $295 for access for the rest of the month.  Since you paid for access for the month, that’s what we delivered, and then canceled any re bills per your request.

We NEVER say that we win all the time.  You stating that ‘they brag that they make sure they win every time’ is a flat out untruth. We go out of our way to show our losing trades as well as our winning trades.  I can send you recordings of the webinars you attended where I show and discuss losing trades.  Not only are losing trades discussed but they are shown on the trading platform.  There is no way to ‘hide’ bad trades.  Feel free to reach out to us and we’ll send you those links.  Additionally you can see losing trades on the right side of our homepage, along with recent winning trades. www.topgunoptions.com

Finally, I do not use my military service to ‘rob people blind’. This is highly offensive and inflammatory.  I have used my military experience and applied it to my trading with much success as evidenced by the thousands of satisfied subscribers at Top Gun Options.  My military service also instilled a deep sense of personal responsibility and accountability, which appears to have eluded you.

After presenting all of this ‘evidence’ to your credit card company they agreed with us and sided in our favor.  Credit card companies favor their card holder over a merchant in disputes like this a majority of the time.  Not in this case.  Taking to the web in anger to slander a business that takes pride in conducting itself with the highest ethical standards is not the way win an argument.
